What if Obito was a Uzumaki?

Yes i know he is Uchiha with Sharingan, but what if one of his parent was Uzumaki? How is he that knowledgeable concerning sealing techniques.

He recognised the contract seal just by seeing it once:

He has also shown to be able to use sealing chains(chakra chains only shown to be used by Kushina Uzumaki) to capture Tailed Beasts who could eventually go out of his control. Or sealing rods to stop Hachibi's Bijuu power

Where did he learn all that? I doubt it's Madara the one who taught him all those things one by one. Maybe because he smh Uzumaki himself?

There were survivors. What makes you believe they didn't have children? Do you even know Obito's father or mother?

Doubtful, if that were the case then Obito wouldnt have claimed that he needed to give his life to resurrect Madara. The problem with the rinne tensei is that is uses excessive amounts of Chakra (evidenced by Konans comment on Nagato using rinne tensei at his chakra level or something), if Obito is part Uzumaki then, like Naruto, he has super-human reserves of chakra and shouldnt die from reviving a single person.

As i remember, Obito's Chains come from the rinnegans outer path, Or something like that. How she was able to use the same kind of chains as a rinnegan user is quite interesting indeed.

As of the Other two examples, he obviously knew of them befor he saw Minato/Danzo use these techs, hence how he know the techs names, Since his plans involved the bijuu/juubi, it wouldn't be surprising if he did heavy research into Seals and thats why he knows so much about them.

It is an interesting theory, but I honestly would imagine Madara taught him a great deal of it. First of all it was Madara's plan to get the Juubi so he himself would have taken the time to prepare for it. Also the Bijuu extraction used the gedo statue so that means it is more of a Rinnegan tech. He copied it off of Nagato.

Also having dealings with Danzo probably allowed him to glean some information....afterall Danzo himself seems to be easily tricked by genjutsu based on the Sasuke fight.

As for Minato...he was once his student, and Minato being taught sealing techniques by Kushina probably meant that Obito witnessed it. He could also have been told about this move by Madara as he did fight Hashirama with Kurama...a similar method could have been used on him.

Finally chakra chains...the chains came from the rods which existed from the Gedo Mazo so once again a Rinnegan aided tech....Also having Kushina using them several times during Naruto's birth, he could have seen the technique and copied it via sharingan.


You make an interesting point as we don't know anyrhing for sure. Still he is more than likely simple Uchiha. Using lessons and the Sharingan to get information.

While I'd hate it for Obito to be an Uzumaki, but Kishi is a troll. Maybe there were others that survived? Karin comes to mind. Playing devil's advocate here. lol Not saying Karin is his mommie...have to clarify before people start inferring I said Karin and Obito are related...people don't read.

Karin's even younger than Obito and she's a confirmed Uzumaki. When the Uzumaki clan was wiped out, there were survivors and they scattered. So I guess it's a possibility.

But I doubt Obito is an Uzumaki though. It would be repetitive since the previous Big Bad with the Rinnegan (Nagato) also turned out to be an Uzumaki. Sealing jutsu seem to put shinobi in a higher level of expertise and skill so it could just be that Obito is well versed in them, especially since he needs to deal with a lot of Tailed Beasts extractions and seals and what not.

The only thing that makes me think he MIGHT have a connection to the Uzumaki is the fact that he can use Chakra chains, which before he used them were super exclusive to Kushina, the most well known Uzumaki in Narutoverse after Naruto himself. And I think we all have read enough Naruto to say that there are no coincidences in the Naruto world.
