No! Madara is not evil he is just blinded by hatred, he is without hope. Someone needs to show him that life is not predictable. The problem is he knows too much and no human can take that much! I know he will come around as Hashirama said to Sasuke that Madar is a kind man deep inside he just needs a serious counselling with solid facts!

Sage said that Madara had lust for power. And taking away the power from him is the best thing.
Everyone failed in TnJ'ing Madara because he gives Sh*t about that. Madara is evil

Possible. However, in a world without hashirama I truly believe that Madara wouldnot want to stick around.

So, unless Hashirama is revived via rinne tensei I don't see Madara under any circumstances staying around after the war ( unless he survives by running away and comes back later idk)

But he doesn't fit into Naruto's messiah system. He's not like Neji or Gaara or Obito, Madara is totally aware of Naruto's skill of changing people and his bigger picture of the Sage/Ashura and he's purposely trying to not abide by this system.

A ninja aware of the grander schemes shouldn't/can't be left alive by the end of this arc. He doesn't belong in this world and even the Sage knows it.
