What if Itachi actually wander Sasukes eyes like he said?

If you remember back when Itachi and Sasuke were fighting their last battle at the Uchiha Hideout we initially were told that Itachi wanted Sasukes eyes to get EMS. What if Itachi went into the battle with this as his actual goal and was bloodlusted? I have no doubt he would win the battle and get EMS but how would the rest of the series change? Obviously this means that Itachi would also not have his terminal sickness.

Not really, and before you bring me some of Kishi's quotes (saying that the manga would've probably ended if he didn't add something interesting to it soon), that was basically what he "thought" would've happened, nobody knows how popular Naruto would've turned out in the end without Sasuke, it might have been far more popular, who knows really? + characters like Kakashi and Gaara were going to save it eventually, so.... u-u

I wasn't a sasuke fan but I can tell you it wouldn't have been a very good or long manga. Naruto's existence and the seties is practically tied to Sasuke and Naruto's hunt for him.

Manga focused around team Minato without the one trick pony sensei or around the Ame orphans with Jiraiya as their sensei would've definitely been up there and top sellers.

I just want to ask you a question out of curiosity:

How the hell did you even manage to watch the whole series from point A to Z and enjoy it if you hate the main character so damn much for no reason? I respect your opinion on all the characters but I just cannot understand people who hates the protagonist of a series they enjoy and love(before you say it's because of Sasuke and the others, most of the characters you liked were sometimes gone for many chapters, so it still doesn't make any sense + It was all about Naruto anyway).

There's really no way of telling. Neji was supposed to be Naruto's rival, and I can see a lot of people liking that more than Sasuke's rivalry thing with Naruto because it became way too weird on Shippuden and took away some great elements from part 1. Sasuke not being a character of the series doesn't mean that Kishi didn't have the Uchiha clan and the whole dojutsu concept in mind, which was basically what one of the things people liked throughout the series. Sasuke also kind of ruined Naruto for so many, Kishi focused on their relationship a lot over the time and ignored the other interesting characters and clans we've had since the very begining. :/

Actually it's been confirmed that Sasuke the character had nothing to do with the series survival early on. It was rivalry. Switch Sasuke with someone like Neji or Gaara and boom, series continues to be successful. Probably even more so.

Still, Vulpini and Salamander are known trolls so I wouldn't be surprised that they actually believe the nonsense they type.

Nic I know you ride anything connected to Naruto but let's be real. If Minato is sensei of team Kakashi and just blitzes everybody you won't have a manga where characters can be developed. It would literally be a shit show for people and to develop characters Kakashi and the rest of the team would be ass pulling or standing on the side lines. Be realistic in your approach don't let your D riding blind you to the stupidity of that edit. Naruto was great because Kakashi may have been powerful but had limits in place, Naruto and Sasuke were developing as they went along. It was a journey that could be followed and appreciated by everybody minus the sidelining(other characters) kishi did now and again.
