I don't remember if I wrote this anywhere but when I saw his tiny wings I wondered if they were related.

No, i don't believe his in the same race as the likes of Morgans.
Although, I do believe King and Magellan might have a race in common though.
Characters like Morgans and Karasu, their human like yet so much bird like too and i'm pretty sure they aren't zoans. I believe their another race we have not been revealed or one of those on the auction house list from shabondy pre timeskip.
Its the new world, i reckon oda might show us those races which were shown on that list. I mean apart from fishmen, his shown us minks now too. Perhaps in time, he'll show us all of the races.
