What if everyone hates Naruto after they free the world from the genjutsu?

Think about it: Infinite tsukuyomi is not that bad at all. People are happy and living their dreams. Once Naruto and Sasuke kill either Madara or Kaguya (depending on how things go) and the infinite tsukuyomi ends, all of their dreams will die before their eyes! Just picture it:

It will be as if Dan, Nawaki, and Jirayia died all over again and right in front of Tsunade! Orochimaru will still be rouge.

Hinata will come to the realization that Neji is dead and he is never ever coming back! Naruto is also not hers.

Lee will realize that he is still weak in comparison to his rivals (except for Neji who he will never ever be able to redeem himself against).

Kiba's dream of becoming hokage will be shredded to sunders and Shino will find out that his dream bug does not exist!

Don't you see? Infinite tsukuyomi gives people their hearts' desires. For the ones who are dreaming of deceased loved ones, ending the genjutsu would be like killing those people all over again! Do you really think anyone is going to be happy after this jutsu ends?

That is why I think that they may hate Team 7 after Naruto and Sasuke save them.

What do you think?

Some of them might, but I think the smart ones would realise and "forgive" Naruto, as it was a "Dream" all along not a reality.

As Naruto noted, its just a lie, those aren't their loved ones, their loved ones are still dead and dreaming won't bring them back.

This is no different then living in a box and pretending that cardboard cut outs are your loved ones.

Hopefully they accept that what they saw was just a dream and are mature enough to let it go.

That is a very interesting thing to speculate about but I think it will be either:

1) power of friendship prevails

or

2) in The Matrix Smith mentioned that human minds rejected the perfect world. They may notice how fake everything is (remember the creepy Rin?).

they already knew what happens to them if IT is activated that's why the war is going on so everyone will forgive Naruto and praise him as a hero

You know Hinata and Kiba will for sure. Hinata won't end up with Naruto, and Kiba won't even be able to smell the Hokage seat, he's so far from becoming hokage.

The concept of what is "real" and what is "fake" is subjective. People bound to the tree live endlessly due to the Shinju's power, so they don't have to worry about stuff like starving in the real world. As long as you don't have to worry about things like that, then whatever you physically and emotionally feel and experience is your reality. In a sense it is like being in another dimension. The other dimension is no less real than the world that we refer to as "the real world". If I put a girl under an illusion to make her feel like she is giving birth, she would probably smack you if you said that her pain was not real or the emotions towards that baby that she felt. It wouldn't matter what was "real" and what was not. It is like Itachi said: Reality is based on perception. One's illusion could be another's reality.

The Matrix used to be my favorite movie when it came out in 1999. And I'm experiencing a massive deja vu right now. I can't believe my life just went full circle :|

Hagoromo implied that the IT has side effects that are actually no good to the world. We will probably see what he means in this next few chapters.

naruto and sasuke going rouge together after all this is the only way that it can really end, so that would be a good way to do it, everyone hates team 7 so they disappear into the mist.

That's not what Itachi meant, he didn't say pretend to live in a dream and everything is real as long as you believe it, he was talking about lying to someone to manipulate them.

If that was what Itachi meant he would be supporting the IT not trying to stop it.

What's happening is very different, they are all trapped in cocoons and pretending that dreams are real, that's like locking yourself in your room and pretending your dreams are real, its childish and immature.

Also it denies progress, people live and grow from the problems in the world, if everyone was busy dreaming then no progress would be made, technology, new life from babies, and new ideas being born, everything will be trapped at a stand still.

Hopefully most of the SA are mature enough to realize that dreams aren't reality.
