What happened to this "cape?" (for Ichigo)

^ This is when Ichigo looked like a major bo$$! I mean, he still does, but this is him at his prime.

It's Ichigo's Execution Grounds outfit, and the cape that belongs to the Shihoin Clan (Yoruichi's Clan Emblem)

Now here's the question: Why did Ichigo discard it way back when? Was it just too difficult/tedious for Tite Kubo to draw on a weekly basis?

Oh and you do agree don't you...that this is Ichigo's coolest part of his outfit?

Maybe the Shihōin clan had ways to stop the Sokyoku which could explain why Ichigo was able to destroy the execution stand and block a hit from Sokyoku. I mean Ukitake and Kyoraku also used the Shihōin shield to destroy the Sokyoku.

It was cool definitely but in no way is the cape necessary so I think it was right for Kubo to remove after that arc.

i always liked the graphics of bleach........sadly it is coming to an end after all those horrible fullbring arc.....but they are replacing bleach something better then bleach(Nowadays)..."Rock Lee Spring Time Youth".....

It might have looked nice but there's really no point in it. His Bankai gives him an entirely different outfit. What would be the point in covering his shihakusho with another cape?
