What happened to the "whole new Naruto"?

Do u remember the episode when the guy's are fighting Kakuzu, and then Naruto and the rest of the team come in the last minute to save them....

Its, then that Yamato tells Kakashi that this is a whole new Naruto. We can see the change in his eyes, and it even got me thinking that Naruto got smarter too, as he learned to use his clones to learn more about his opponent.

But then, all of the sudden it goes puff, and all that change goes to trash, as I havent seen Naruto act like that in the following anime chapters.

So, what the hell?!

then some sasuke stuff, naruto was sort of left out during the whole phase between oro's death and 8 tailed arc if i remember rightly, then we see naruto in action....Another filler

Nothing, its still present, we'll see the change in naruto in the next naruto arc after this filler arc with the 6-tailed, dunno if you read the manga or not and so i dont want to spoil it for you

Im just a lil' bit dissapointed in the anime series cuz they left that out...
and now even more cuz I was looking forward to see Pains arrival animated

yeah, the filler was kind of lame because it had to come now >_< but the anime was catching up a bit, cause next would of been the whole kage summit and we've just finished that bit right now xD
but in the manga, the concept of naruto growing up is still there, for instance; he didnt fall for sakura's trick, saying that she loved him, did he? and if naruto was 12 or whatever he was at the start of the pre-shippuuden episodes, he would of fell for it completely

As soon as I saw the bad guys I was disapointed with it, there should be some sinister looks to them, they are just too stupid looking, if u know what Im saying. Except for the leader, he has some chances...
All in all, I just hope it wont be like the last one with the three tails, now that was just too lame!
And we had better see some actual action this time, including akatsuki. So far I have seen no point in this last few anime chapters,, up until the end of the last chapter....they are just wasting our time with vague stuff...

more than likely, the girl will die by the hands of the enemies/mist ninja and will release the 6-tailed beast and naruto + gang will need to fight it and akatsuki will come in at the last minute and snatch it XD

yh. the reason naruto hasnt shown his growth is cause of the damn fillers.
in the manga he was said to have grown and he showed it against kakuzu, then he used his shadow clones to search a wide area to look for sasuke and itachi
after the itachi arc he fought pein. and he showed his growth in that battle.

the fillers keep dumbing him down. if after that sage training we have someone fight on equal terms as naruto then we have a big problem.
also the people responsible for thisfiller should get sacked. i mean where they put it was terrible, no one is going to send naruto on a mission when they need to tell him jiraiya is dead.
they should of read the manga and planned ahead.
they just seem to throw things in and hope it works. they had the manga written far in advance so they have no excuse for the plot holes.

I'm 80% sure that Kishi wrote this filler or atleast thats the rumor. So the statement "Whoever is incharge of this filler should get sacked" well ok lets just sack the inventor of the series. ;/

Fillers are nessisary unless you create the series in manga form and then put it into an anime, and even then they'll add more information and try to tie up lose ends.

Atleast this filler is turning out better then I expected it to be. I just wish the characters would look a little better. ;/ The dude with the "W" chin is so annoying to look at, the transexual dude with the red in his hair is just like wtf.. ;/

Yet again I would have much rather seen them go to get sakura and then come back to the village, I would much rather see a main character then some chick who can't do jutsu. Or I'd much rather see Sakura then Sai. ;/

There CAN be timeline skips. we never know WHEN this mission actually happened. There COULD have been this mission whilst jiraiya fights pein.

They put it in a perfect place actually. Yes it's unfortunate that we have to wait to see him obtain sage. However it wouldn't work if you put it after his training. Naruto would have to get sage do this mission and that would 100% destroy almost everything timeline wise. As we know a large thing happens during the time period and disrupts naruto's training.

This is the ONLY option to put a NESSISARY filler. Stop complaining about where it is.

The manga isn't THAT far ahead of this point.. If the anime continued without this filler it'd HAVE to continue for a long while and it'd most likely catch up to the manga or be REALLY close to doing so.

actually I dont believe you, look at the speed at which naruto reacted to these attacks. If it was the "old" naruto, he would have been sliced open before he knew what was going on.

nothing ever happened in the first place, I didn't see a change in naruto at all, but maybe that is just my opinion.

As far as it being interesting it's really hard to make it as interesting as the actual series. Unless they made a gaiden or something along the lines of adding to fights and such.

I already said something about just making fights an episode longer [main fights that would have added another 3 episodes.] Another Gaiden or Two. [4 More episodes] and then a few other things like revisting what is under kakashi's mask, what is ACTUALLY in the ramen ect. just silly things which would have added another 2 or 3 episodes. [Seperate them so they don't take up a FULL episode but just a break from the episode itself.] Or do something like a playful matchup between Gai and Kakashi, or follow along what happens with gaara or a different squad. I wouldn't mind seeing Shikamaru's squad do another mission, or following along with konohamaru. It'd be better then ANY of the filler arcs we've watched.

There IS infact MORE to this world then what Naruto experiences. ;/

The anime is flawed is no many places it doesn't follow the EXACT way the world should work as Kishi described. People use jutsu they don't have or havent trained for or cannot posess or shouldn't possess at that point in time. Fillers just destroy the world in ways it shouldn't. The people doing the anime don't deserve to get paid if they screw up the universes rules that the original writer set out to put. They don't need to make Naruto look like an idiot yet they do. they hardly follow the characters development.

Just for reference if you ever create a FLUENT universe, don't sell your rights to some stupid anime distributor and ruin everything you've worked on. Just for those of you who intend on writing something great. ;]
