Perhaps Hashirama will save him - ha, I wonder what his reaction would be to Yamato... or the fact his face is on Madara's chest.
Meh. I wish overall a bit more had been done with Yamato's character. But I don't think he'll be forgotten forever... hopefully. Naruto will probably find him in the end, or the tree/Zetsu bullshit will probably reappear on the battlefield somehow.
