but what i dont understand is why they look so different.

it could be black because he used amaterasu on it like he did with his tsukuyomi to add the black flames to increase the defense.
But it still looks way different i figured they would be the same since its itachis technique since itachi passed it onto sasuke.
Unless its going to get the mask armor and sword like itachis in the next chapter
