You ******... first of all. Those images state "it was SAID" and lemme tell you why. Hashirama CLEARLY was on another level, SOT6P's level, as stated by Kabuto. Thing is, all his opponents couldn't stand up to him so he killed them and people thought it was his full power. So basically, people didn't see his true colours. That's why they think Hiruzen > Hashi. When he fought Madara he went all out, but no one saw it.
Kabuto didnt say Hashirama is on the SOT6P level. He said his power was considered a fairy tail LIKE the SOT6P's.. You can not compare hashirama to the sage.
Well people on here think that the only way to become very strong is to have an OP bloodline. For this reason people underrate Hiruzen and even Sakura. For some reason, if you are not Uchiha, Senju, Uzumaki or even Hyuga, you aren't worth mentioning.
Hiruzen during his prime was probably very powerful and on the same level as Minato, Itachi, Sasuke and could potentially beat Hashirama. He actually has a solid chance even though Hashirama is more powerful because Hiruzen has full knowledge and many jutsus he developed after Hashirama's death that Hashirama has no clue about.
I put him on Hashirama's level, but I don't think that's a level I would have them both as high kage. Hiruzen's hyped to be stronger than Hashirama who is mainly all hype.
Hiruzen already beat Hashirama, Tobirama and Orochimaru at the same time. I'm going to justuify myself before I get a bunch of fanboys coming at me. Orochimaru's edo's were perfected, Orochimaru is well informed about mokuton, the power levels were a lot weaker in part 1.
Yep. If the battle was supposed to happen in Part 2, or the battle will ever get remastered in any Naruto Game or a Special Flashback, then i bet Hashirama could use his Thousand Flowers and Mokuton, but at the end Hiruzen would always be stronger and it would end same way it did previously.

Hashirama level at least. But taking hype into account and the fact that Hiruzen was Hashirama's student ("new generations will always surpass the previous") he's probably higher, but not Edo Madara level.

I'm sorry, but that performance during the nine-tails attack was not really impressive at all.. And he was only like 2-3 year's (i think) older than shippuden jiraya at that point.
