What i like in a main character?

1. Uhm first of all, the main character has to have a cool personality, he/she has to be either cold or not caring at all, he/she has to have the mood of ''I don't give a f'', if someone mess with him/her things are going to get ugly.

2. A dark back-story, i like when main characters have a dark past, like someone or a bunch of people who made the MC life bad that = scars for life.

3. Badass? Definitely, MC has to back up their words, refer to point #1.

4. Of course development is a crucial part of any characters in an anime/manga/light novel, etc.
