Yes, he'll be on his death bed when a rock comes flying through his roof and onto the floor. Coincidentally, the rock had come from his own Hokage face & then Kakashi's eyes'll lock onto his statue face.. After seeing Kawaki among the faces and the destruction, he has ptsd flashbacks & his brain sends special chakra to his eyes awakening the all-red Transient Mangekyo Sharingan. His susanoo manifests, then he throws a lightspeed Kamui Shuriken sending Kawaki to where Kawaki had sent Naruto.
