I see a lot of polarity on the Base when it comes to this fight. In your opinion, how hard was that fight for Minato to win? Taking in all factors like the time constraint, knowing Kurama was rampaging, hoping Old Man Hiruzen would hold out, worrying about his family, etc.

It was High diff. Even though it was a short clash, if Minato were even a second off, he would have been Kamui'd. I say it was High diff.

It didn't seem like Minato had much trouble after working out how to land a successful attack so I'd say low-diff.

But we have to bear in mind that Obito was only 15 and it was hardly as if Obito was near death after their clash.

Since he died extremely difficulty, but if it is his fight against Obito alone I'll say Med-High diff

Imho High difficulty....Minato was stuck between a split decision for a victor. If his calculations were off in the slightest he'd have lost I believe....I say High.

But he didn't die against Obito. He died doing the Reaper Death Seal and taking Kurama's claw through his sternum after that fight.

Considering he killed him....that just shows how much of a fodder he was, to get defeated by a 14 yr old

I think he was the weakest hokage after Danzo..

neg difficult

obito couldn't even touch Minato. He only did that when he attacked Minato from his back, and it failed.

Which is why I said if it was just his fight with Obito alone Med-High Difficulty.

But Obito didn't kill him. Minato defeated Obito and Obito left.

Minato died using Reaper Death Seal to seal Kurama into Naruto. A completely separate event.

A 5seconds fight without a single scratch is no difficulty

The only reason why the fight seemed more taxing than it actually was is due to all the external factors:

Wife just gave birth and had a biju extracted from her
New born son
Biju destroying village
Obito following his every move

Once it was just him and obito he ended him on a whim.
Ftg v2. Not even v3.

It was mid diff, if he failed the ftg v2, I guess he'd just ftg away and try again, kamui was not instant in those days.
