Obito doesn't have half of white ztesu, the entire right side of his body from the neck down was completely destroyed, prompting Madara to reconstruct half of his body (along with placing a seal onto his heart) using parts of Hashirama's living clone. I think that is it. What you are talking about may be when zetsu possessed of fused (i am not sure what he did) with obito but
And obito he was gonna use the Rinne Tensei to revive
(i am not sure but it seems like as penance for his actions noting that there was no other way to atone for them.) but when he was about to use Rinne Tensei he was taken over by black zetsu who forced him to use Rinne Tensei to revive edo Madara and that was it, extraction from the juubi doesn't kill you i would get the scans but i don't know how to put then in a post sorry (Oh and just reading it back i realized u understood that the juubi extraction did not kill him sorry about that) but i am still gonna continue if you wanna read.
According to Kurama's Yin half, there is a side effect to the Ten-Tails being extracted from its jinchūriki; while the tailed beasts' removal will not put its host in mortal danger, due to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path itself having a strong life force, it will leave the individual completely paralysed for a time. It was after that then the gedo was summoned from him so it saved him in time so after it was summoned he was just left paralyzed but he was still able to move his arms and what not but he had to force it cause he would have done the rinne tense quickly but it was slow allowing zetsu enough time to take control and force him to use the rinne tense to revive madara as i said above.

Edit: you said "Orbito is half a white zetsu so when the tree and the gedo are destroyed half of him will die killing him" nope its not so at all cause he isn't half of white zetsu and umm i don't think the gedo was destroyed it is the vessel for the juubi so once all bijju get inside it transforms into the juubi with out the gedo there is no juubi ( not sure about that but it seems so) but i think you are talking about after Madara pulled all the bijju inside the gedo and i don't know what happened after but what ever happened the gedo was not destroyed.
Am I correct or wrong do tell me!!!
