Then obito replies "yeah i know"

Both have serious faces, what do you interpret this as?

He can. I'm sure Gai will be fine (Kishi can't kill him off like that). It means Obito has to sacrifice himself in order to save the world, seeing as no other person present there is capable of traveling through dimensions like Obito can.

Orbito is half a white zetsu so when the tree and the gedo are destroyed half of him will die killing him naruto won't have the time or chakra in the end to heal him and save him it's the only way that makes sense as the gedo was said to let him survive the beast extraction. Unless I read a bad translation then he is already living on borrowed time.
