I know this is way back when but remember when Kurama told Sasuke not to let Naruto die back when they first met? Do you think maybe Kurama knows more than he's letting on or is it just that kishi wanted something ominous? What do you think he was talking about? What danger to Sasuke was he referring to back then that he knew about?

Its quite simple. He told Sasuke not to kill Naruto because if he did, the fox would be revived. It's nothing special, he was just telling Sasuke he'd regret killing him since Naruto was a host.
because clearly sasuke and naruto were friends at this stage and fox was just trying to aviod them from killing each other since he like naruto so much at this time.

yea the fox diffinetly should arrange naruto and hinata too.

Mmm you should really work on your sarcasm. What other explanation is there, in reality? Its not like the 9 tails would want Naruto and Sasuke to stay friends or anything..... the only explanation is that Kurama was referring to his own revival. He knew that whatever he said, he wouldn't change sasuke's mind; so why not tell him the truth? There's absolutely no other reason that Kurama would have said that.

Probably a bluff if anything. I can't fathom Kurama giving two shits about Naruto at that point, as he's barely coming around now. Kurama didn't want to die, so he threatened Sasuke not to kill him, by making it seem as if by killing Naruto he'd be revived.

In Part 1, Kurama almost died when Naruto was almost killed by Kabuto. Honestly, this is the only reason that makes sense to me.

You've got it reversed. If Naruto dies, Kurama would be revived. But it has been confirmed that if a host does die, it would take the beast time before it'd be able to get back into the real world. But bottom line, if Naruto died, Kurama would be set free.

The Kyuubi was basically being a smart ass. He knew if Sasuke killed naruto, he'd be revived. So he was basically taunting Sasuke by telling him he'd regret it. Sasuke would just be his first victim.

Wat chapter was dat?
I just checked on it, 309 if I'm not mistaken

this essentially ^^ Kurama would be dispersed if Naruto was killed I'm assuming for a creature like Kurama he feels everything his host does to point and I'm assuming that includes dying so Kurama just may not be up for dying...again...imo +rep

I like how confident u are but u make NO sense

WHY would kurama not want his cage destroyed when the fact is either way it goes he'll just come back?

Sasuke has no plans of controlling him so in that sense he wouldn't care much about it.

He has a reason and its definitely not the one u posted in this post but u can't be sure he was only taunting him

But he was just taunting him. What else could the reason be? Kurama was acting confident and was basically being a smart-ass by telling him he'd regret it. The fox was so confident that he freely told Sasuke the truth that it would be a bad idea. If Sasuke went against him and killed Naruto, the fox would appreciate it. Also keep in mind that the fox was astounded to see sasuke enter Naruto's subconscious. I think it was more a moment of honesty from the fox if anything, but you could consider it reverse psychology.
