What did Jiraiya teach Naruto in that 3 years?

Some say it's the Torii Seal that Gerotora and Jiraiya spoke secretively of as "that jutsu".
And Naruto shouldn't use it when he is not ready.

Is it Rasenshuriken? But it's not possible since Jiraiya didn't teach Naruto that.

I really think it's some sort of powerful fuuinjutsu, since Naruto is Uzumaki, and probably needs Uzumaki blood to perform.

Naruto's comeback was disappointing compared to other main cast tbh, he got a bigger rasengan and supposedly better taijutsu.

About "that" jutsu, I have no idea but probably a sealing tech; J-man was good at sealing (he had a sealing scroll that sealed fire)

plus "that jutsu" is not perfomed by naruto yet otherwise kishi surely showed us some flashbacks where J man talked about "that jutsu"

He trained Naruto to control the Kyuubi's chakra. And Naruto managed to reach till three tails while being conscious. Apart from that Naruto managed to learn Oodaama Rasengan. That's not easy to do. you know that. Plus he didn't know he could multiply his experience through clones. Hence it took him 2 and a half year.

Yeah he focused too much on Jinchuuriki's power because it was the most important thing to do since the Akatsuki were on the move to capture the tailed beasts.

Actually, it was far from a waste of time.The main reason Jiraiya took Naruto was to protect him from the Akatsuki,by keeping naruto on the move and with him, not to train him.Jiraiya was a clear success in that department because Naruto didn't get caught like the other jinchuki over the timeskip.Also, Naruto did came back with improve skills, though you are right it wasn't that much and a bit of a disappointment,

If Naruto would have become stronger in three years then he could have had brought Sasuke back to the village. Instead Naruto could have killed Orochimaru at their first meeting in Shippuden itself. The other answer would be PLOT to keep the story going and to pull the strings for the other characters' development.

It's bjuudama. Remember the rasengan passed down to Naruto from Minato=>Jiraiya=>Naruto controlling Kyuubi=>Bijuudama.

What jiraiya thought naruto in the 2 and half years that he was gone...remember naruto was just winging it before he was just fight on

instinct no particular style of fight just trying to get by and using what ever chakra he had. Naruto came back with better usage of his

chakra, chakra control, improve tiajutsu skills his own fight style when using shadow clone his specialty, an improve rasengan, he

thought him tactic remember naruto would just announce himself and some sealing jutsu remember sealed weapons and seeing the way

he knew what to do with the sealing key from gamatorra add to the fact that he is somewhat knowledgeable with sealing jutsu.

That only matters on the journey.If Jiraiya had of trained naruto to be an elite shinobi, Naruto could have protect himself.Now what happen to Naruto once Jiraiya wasn't around to protect him?Nearly capture countless times and always having to be saved by others isn't how i think the main protagonist should be.I don't blame Jiraiya for this because it's obviously how Kishi wants the series storyline to play out, with Naruto being the clown who isn't really skillful but fights with courage and conviction as opposed to his rival Sasuke who's highly intelligent and skillful, but it is quite ridiculous the progress of Naruto as a shinobi and the trolling job Kishi did to him.
