What did Jiraiya even do for the 3 years he was "Teaching" Naruto?

His Rasengan wasn't improved at all.
He didn't learn anything about his Futon ( HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT CHAKRA NATURES WERE ).
He didn't learn a thing about Sage mode, he didn't know it existed..
He wasn't taught to counter things.

Meanwhile, in 1 year, Jiraiya manages to teach Yahiko/Konan/Nagato...
All 5 Chakra natures to Nagato, including "Some" mastery of the Rinnegan.
Water style to Yahiko, and Kenjutsu, as he was shown to be a user of it.
A unique style to Konan, something than might even be a Kekkai genkai.
How to survive alone in the war ravaged land.
Countless other things..

Naruto learned to fight using Kyuubi's chakra but he refused to use it after hurting Sakura so it looks like there is no progress at all,Part 2 intro Naruto is stronger than what we think of him.

Also don't forgot that Jman recived serious wounds from Naruto (Kyuubi) during training so I think he spent alot of time in hospital.
