The reason is that there will be no more SnK anime,it's official,and people want to know what will happen

The manga is actually on par with the anime. Its only the animation that makes it alive.

In my opinion you should read it. You will get spoiled anyways.

Start chapter 31. Warning chapters 42 to 50 will make you love the shit out of the manga.

No it's not official , It is official however that the anime will come back in 2015 .

OT : Chapter 33 ...but you should just start from 30 -31 since the last two episodes where changed in the anime .

NOTE : But if you are only reading because it's popular , then you shouldn't be reading .
