What can 8th gate do?

The 8 gate gives greater power than a kage.

I have always found that part of the ability a bit weird.
Greater power than a kage. As if kage lvl is at a certain absolute powerlvl (number), which one could exceed with the gates. There is no such thing as a absolute powerlvl for kage. This is no dbz with numbers and scouters and the likes.

I guess they just mean that the power of the gates is so great, that they just cant believe that a kage could match it.
That basically tells something about the people who made the statement and the kages of their time compared to
gate users.

It has been stated in le series that the 8th gate grants the user power far beyond the Gokage... So i dont really expect much since le Gokage were all tossed around like ragdolls and screwed over by an Edo Madara... Jyubi Jin Madara solo's neg-low diff
