What are your thoughts on soft drugs ?

I personally have had Pot, XTC, Meth, Acid and a lot of different pills.
Nothing's wrong with Pot, it's not addictive (is to some people mentally but that's the same with everything in the world) people don't get all violent on it, it can be inspiring creatively and long term use only really affects short term memory.
Acid is also an amazing drug, inspiring as well as eyeopening, it can change your whole life and make you see everything from a new perspective plus it's not really addictive.
XTC is alright, mean for raves etc.

I believe weed is fine. However, LSD severely alters your mind, but in my opinion, it should not be illegal.

That's the mindset that keeps the general populous afraid of weed. Look, a HUGE reason people smoke weed is to get back at their parents, or to just get away from everything. Now, the term gateway drug is used in this sense, because they say you get desensitized towards the effects of weed, and you want to get something stronger.

Weed is a gateway drug, for two types of people. Those who know they were lied to at school, and think the because they were lied to about this, they were lied to about everything. And the other type, are those who have drug-dealers as friends, and use them as their dealer. You're more likely to listen to them.

Weed does not kill people, YOU CANNOT OVERDOSE ON IT.

For now, because of the mindset of the gateway drug, weed won't be legal in the U.S.

But hopefully, in the future, people will understand the benefits of weed.

First off LSD or ecstasy is worse than Alcohol...for you people that say it ruined my family or whatever. Alcohol didn't it was the person who took it. If he was that mentally weak or stupid to be drunk and see that he ruined his/her family then its all his/her fault.

Also to people saying weed is illegal because people are scared of the gateway drug, don't be ignorant...the world doesn't work that way. Everything is about money, do you know how many people sell weed? A lot of people...if weed would be legalized then they would lose all that money, prices might go down because everyone would be able to grow or sell it. I know a ton of people that sell voted to keep week illegal and made their buyers do the same.

Also getting back to LSD and ecstasy...both only require one time use to alter something in your brain. Meaning changing something in the chemistry in the brain, this is scientifically proven. Also the death dosage of ecstasy is 1.2 pills...yes the dosage that people take is lethal. One pill can damage your brain in the size of a quarter, brain cells do not grow back or regenerate.

There is no such thing as soft or hard drugs. Drugs are drugs, period. And you really shouldn't be asking people what kind of drugs they take/took. It is not really suitable on a forum with a lot of people being under 18. Some might view it as promoting illegal substances to minors.

Less addictive than tobacco yes, but still addictive though.

More expensive than smoking... Withdrawal is worst.

People who stop smoking doesn't have bad withdrawals. Loads of my friends stop smoking.

My one friend's brother used LSD which later evolved to the harder stuff.
Before LSD he smoked weed...

Weed is not a gateway drug. It's a person's mentality that causes them to move onto other drugs.

I have smoked weed for 4 years now, and I have never had the drive to do any other type of drug. The only other "drug" I've done is salvia, and it's legal and not bad in the slightest bit. I've thought of doing mushrooms, but I doubt I ever will.

I don't even drink very often, I'll drink at a party but only sociably. I'll never drink to get drunk, because being belligerently drunk is not fun at all. I'd rather keep control of my body and smoke weed, then not have any control and be drunk.

As for my stand on other drugs, I don't really mind. Weed is cool, I don't really care about ecstasy as long as you aren't overdosing, LSD.. good luck with that . Cocaine I'm completely against, and everything past that. And I would never do any type of pills.

Well, technically, you can. If you can smoke your body weight in weed. Which is like thousands of joints.

In my opinion any drug is bad for you weed or any other drug and I know it because I have friends that do it and their lives are **** up, and never did any drugs before I will never do drugs, but I do drink sometimes when I go to party's and stuffs like that etc.

Seriously. I do not get the logic behind supporting drug use. It's bad for your brain. Reduces your mental ability, decision taking ability, distorts the short term memory etc- in short it would lower you meantal capabilities. People get addicted slowly and any addiction is bad- Be it alchohol, drugs or anything which ultimately hinders your capability to follow you normal routine affecting your health either mentally or physically or in both ways.

I do not know any weed smoker with a proper healthy family where he was a productive member of the family and not a dead weight. Be a burden on society and die from overuse of drugs as after sometime most addicts move over to stronger drugs. Resort to taking any kind of poison from ink removers to lizards...
