I love thinking so I guess a philosopher and I love art ( beauty ) anything that has art gets my attention.
I love psychology and I like to stay quite and observe.

So its a combination of philosophy + art (beauty) + psychology

So anything that is mainstream you will decide to ignore it simply on that principle ? Thats close minded.What kind of philosopher is that ? If you hate on the main stream everything you do like will eventually be dictated the mainstream which is pretty fail.
Why don't you like what you like and just pay no mind to what your not interested in ?

I'm not offended i was just curious as to how you would respond i am very confused how people can say they hate "mainstream" it seems pointless and counter productive.But i can see your not one of those people now.

I'll add a category - nerd. I'm a Math major who, like the Philosopher I suppose, enjoys everything intellectual, be it Cosmology or History but I don't err conform much to social convention if you will. I mean in the world of Math people (and I presume intellectual folk in general) there are many normal folk whose general social behaviour is no different to the ordinary guy over there but then there are those of us who are in a world of our own. I'd describe myself as more of the latter even tough I try to be err normal.

Hipsters have been around since the 1950's. the uber modern hipsters most people recognize started in the early 90's with bands like Pavement and Sonic Youth. The reason they have a "uniform" taste is because 90% of fasion designers and (good) musicians are also hipsters. They don't actually wear those ****ing glasses or drink Pabst, that's just a load of crap people take seriously.

They are not supposed to be wordbook definitions. I just wrote them from the top of my head. Everyone gets what I meant. And everyone knows what a hipster is.
