what are the six paths?

we aready no 3 of them uchiha, senju and rinnegan/uzumaki.
my best guess is the the six paths are the 6 clans tht are desendents from the so6p, and all of these clans have their own kekkei genkai,

but saying that if that is true then the uzumakis KG is the rinnegan which to me nt sound right.

the 6 paths could be anything that fits into the sharingan-rinnegan-Senju_cells pattern. Personally, I tink it could be a body similar to the Sage's, but I'm not sure even Kishimoto knows exactly what they are yet.

I honestly think that the paths are derived from the sons.

Senju Son (Body)- Senju (confirmed), Uzumaki (confirmed. put over here due to their great stamina), Sarutobi (think about it. Konohamaru wasn't taught Rasengan, he just learned it. And the third was said to know every jutsu in the leaf that didn't require KG!)

Uchiha Son (Eyes)- Uchiha (confirmed), Hyuuga (it's been stated that the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan, but now we know that it's the other way around), and I don't know what the last one could be. (My friend says that it could be Nara, because they're the only ninja who can use 'Shadow', even though it's not technically a Kekkei Genkai.)

Regarding your topic, 6 path=6 realms>--preta, deva, naraka, animal, human, asura, outer (that's the last path) S06P= rinnegan=6 paths, he invented nin-jutsu, thus the kg's from uzumaki, uchia, hyuga are all ultimately derived from the 6 realms and rikudou's KG.

Thus uchia, uzumaki and senju, are not actual paths their clans with special KG that was derived from the nin-jutsu that rikudou invented using his abilty and rinnegan/6 path.

But correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think I fully understand the thread.

just a thought came to mind. can a byakugan be a path ? so far madara has 2 of the doujutsu rinnegan and sharingan. would he need byakugan ? or if he needed it he would already have it ? xD

the six paths of pain are different from the 6 paths of the Sage himself, so no, the preta, animal etc. have nothing to do with the paths of the sage

Rikudou fully mastered the rinnegan, thus he possessed all the techs from the 6 paths ( that's why he was also able to use chibaku tensei) when rinnegan is fully mastered, it allows the user to use all six natures (unlike nagato), I didn't use preta, deva as people their realms of the rinnegan. Thus without rinnegan there would be no six path/natures of the sage at all.

are you saying that in order to have the same paths the sage had, you'd have to have paths like pain's to get to where the sage's paths are like first?

it's possible, but I doubt that Madara would lack the most common of them. Plus the Sage didn't have a part of his eye that looked like a byakugan

The point is SO6P had to fully master rinnagan in order to use all the six natures. nagato didn't fully master rinnegan thus he was incapable of unlocking the six natures. ok, i get it. the paths of Pain were jus novice level paths.
