[Discussion] What animes would do well in live action

I think bleach could translate well as a live action movie as long as they don't go down that twilight esque teen love story movie.

I don't see the sillier anime series doing well in live action. Except for one punch man I would love if it got a live action adaption he would literally shit on every super hero movie out.

I also think a cowboy bebop one would be good, tokyo ghoul and psycho pass would be epic.

What would do well in live action that you would be excited for.

They are doing Naruto so I hope that can be done well, I can't imagine it but who knows. The full metal Alchemy looks ok and Ghost in the shell looks good too.

I keep trying to come up with good threads to make but it's not going well.

No one, anime live action movies are trash.

Anime allows the ability for the viewer to have a sensible amount suspension of disbelief. Live action gets rid of that and it becomes painful to watch.

List of possible anime that can go live action
1. Ergo Proxy
2. Ghost in the shell
3. Shiki
4. Another
5. Anything that involve scifi and or horror. Without an abundance of CGI.

Anything big, bleach, one piece, Naruto, One Punch Man, anything with crazy powers will look stupid in real life. Food wars would almost work but the taste effects would ruin the movie because of how over the top it is.

Any anime where they can change the age, character design, story structure, and remove characters, would work. But would the fan base really like that?

Why does Ghost in the shell look like it could work? Because it's already been done like 5 times in Hollywood.

Cowboy Bebop was mentioned, which I agree with (and honestly, I WOULD like to see Keanu Reeves play Spike). A few others I'd like to see done by Hollywood:

- Eden of the East
- Black Lagoon
- Hellsing
- Mushishi
- Baccano!
- Durarara!!

Death Note and Monster would be great, too, though there are apparently plans for both of those already.

If we are getting movies like avengers and JJ, Kong and Godzilla, pacific Rim etc .... movies with a ton of cgi it's more than possible to adapt anime into movie with ease. The problem is that the people who take on them have no passion or know anything about them.

I have faith in Ghost in a shell and hopefully at least we can have something going on with them.

Attack on Titans can be live-action if they made it in Hollywood. Those Japanese suck at live-action TV-series/movies

MHA & Kekkai Sensen could work pretty well as live actions IMO.
