Nope, if you believe in the afterlife then this life here is just something you need to endure, suffer true to get to the life that matters, Life is just a Demo of whats to come after it's over.

Beliving in the afterlife is like treating real life like Goldshire...
I don't know how you picture afterlife in your mind, but the afterlife I know,is that the real life is there. And here is an opportunity for us to how to make and design our afterlife. Here is just a game.... We humen aren't made for this world : )
In this case, everything does have a meaning. Becuz you know everything you do, is not left unanswered....and has a direct impact on your real life(the afterlife). There has to be a way to learn how to live in a way that your afterlife is safe and measure things with that, and that's called religion. :D
But,even if this is not true(God,religion, etc) then you haven't lost anything. You've lived your life the way you thought is true and meaningful, and have been satisfied with that... it's worthy going this way I think :)

The only one who would really be able to answer this question is the One who sent you here.

Everyone else has already said it, but there is no singular objective point (unless you count making your own reason as a point).

Religions with an afterlife definitely do state that this world is minor to what's next, and as such to "endure". However they're not stating that this life is purposeless, rather you'd design it to design your afterlife. So whatever you make your purpose to be in the living world, would determine the destination there. Minor differences of course, depending on the faith. And not necessarily do they say that worldly life is only experienced to simply be endured or suffered, rather only one's sufferings are to be seen that way. The sweet enjoyments of life however, the good memories or moments, be it the positive connections or gatherings made with people are encouraged. If that makes any sense. They're not saying to be unhappy with everything or to completely ignore everything lol.

For pleasure and enjoyment. Theres a secret to living eternally; meditate in a mountain under a tree without eating food and water; our body is made for photosynthesis like plants; in other words we're capable of making our own food and water but people are ignorant of this stuff; Nikola tesla claimed our body's natural form is light itself, jesus and several other sages found a way to convert thier flesh and water body into its truest original form and that is why jesus said "I'm the light" and "You're the light of the world" to his disciples. Hidden mysteries people are not aware of.
