Arranged marriages aren't the majority at all. In well-developed countries, people marry because they love the person they're with (whether it stays that way always remains to be seen). Taking the UK as an example, "arranged" marriages only ever happened decades into the past because of either, the former social stigma around having children outside of marriage, or in a shallow attempt to marry into money.

The former doesn't really exist anymore, and the latter always has been rare when you compare it against the majority.

Nope marrying someone because you love his money and marrying someone because you love him are two different things. To me that's an arranged marriage

I think my father, in his late 30s with a good job and all, tired of alcohol and parties and *****s, wanted to finally get a beautifull woman from a respected familly to make him feel warm the night and clean the house, and raise the kids, so he got married with mom. and she did in fact clean the house and raise some kids, my father just kept doing whatever the **** he wanted with his life. taking care of the kids and the house ? him ? naaa, and why did he get a woman then hein ? but he gives whatever money is needed

he's a damn ******* hhhhhh

that's one way to look at things, lol, he's got the money, he did whatever he wanted and still do.
I don't know if I love him or not, I think I don't feel anything like that for him, but I sure as hell respect him, you gotta respect someone like that.

My parents married via family arrangement. They've been together for 27 years now. Prior to their marriage while still engaged, they couldn't see each other face to face; instead they talked over the phone. Most people from this modern age would find this unbelievable, but arranged marriages actually work unlike the so-called ''love'', which results in divorces and step-parent.

I see now where that neg-rep of yours came from saying my parents were strippers...?

Some close friends of mine suffer from severe insecurity and fear for their parents rule every part of their life. They are, in their own words, quite literally the property of their parents. And these are boys. Lets not even start about my female friends from those sandy feet cultures. That is pure depression material for you.

They also are forced to marry some random person from their community and none of them are happy. One of them is already carefully planning how to flee from his family to live the way HE wants. It's cute though to see you make a remark about my parents to defend your indoctrinated sense of pride for your outdated culture.

Have a good one, kiddo. There goes your rep bar.

I gave you a neg rep because you included a snub in your post, which doesn't answer the op's question but rather of your disdain. Also, that snub is against the NB's rules, which I will report afterwards. You can then be banned like before and NB will be free of stupid people.

The rest of your post is irrelevant. I don't have any empathy for your close friends, in the same way you showed no empathy in your disrespectful post. I hope your friends commit suicide of the depression they're experiencing. Your friends haven't grown to men, able to take care of themselves, just as your childish posts demonstrate your mentality, and from that perspective I can understand why their parents are still taking care of them. When you live under the finances of someone else, you follow their rules.

Actually, I did answer the OP's question.

My disdain towards these communal cultures was too broad to be pointed towards anyone on here. And then, in response, you make it personal by calling my parents strippers?.. really now.

And now you're hoping my friends commit suicide. The butthurt is deeply festered, it seems. The guy that is planning his leave as we speak designs security programs from scratch, manages projects and teaches people twice his age, and is on his way to make more money than his parents. So your desperate attempt to glorify your outdated, down right barbaric cultural traditions by saying my friend is not a man and should kill himself is..quite sad.
