Were you in the "popular" crowd in High School?

No I was the guy who would scare the popular kids when they got out of line or there egos reached the maximum limit

Besides popular kids were boring I hung with the realists!

I'm friends with everyone, but i'm in a group where I'm treated nicely and we enjoy ourselves.

I dont give a flying eff about whether we're high flyers or not.

I was like average in popularity at high-school. Everyone in my grade knew my face & name, that's it. I never got that much hate either nor have I showed any hate towards others. I wasn't the greatest at sports either, I sucked at basketball/soccer. However I was really great at badminton but it's a sport that is perceived as being kind of "femininit", which kinda made me ignore any badminton clubs. That's prob. one of my biggest regret in HS. Other than that HS was a big joke.

My friends for the most part had the same interest as me. (playing online video-games, manga, anime, checking out girls, etc.) So yes, they did read manga as well. Now at uni. I'm like a loner because not that many people from my school are in the same program as I am.

My high school really didn't have "popular" kids like I see in a lot of movies, I guess since most people played sports it was nothing special. I was pretty much the all around guy, I'm really tall so most people noticed me and knew me, and I'm friendly so I was cool with almost everyone in my class/grade. Most people outside of my grade knew me from the talent shows though.

Same situation as you. Thankfully one other kid in the popular crowd reads naruto and fairy tail so I have someone to talk to about it. I would go insane with being able to do that

I was one of those people who conversed and knew all cliques and crowds.

Was I only with the "Popular" crowd? No

Was I friends with the "Popular" crowd? Yes

Yeah I was with the popular crowd, not only because I was on the Basketball team but because I was well known. I made friends with the cool kids, the nerds, and whatever other cliques there are. I was that one funny kid that everyone liked but it messed up my grades a bit, had to drop the immaturity.

Some of the 'cool' kids asked me why I still spoke to the anti social and bit nerdy kids but it didn't bother me, that whole jock and nerd boundary is childish, I didn't care.

I knew and spoke to everybody.
