Were you in the "popular" crowd in High School?

Now, this is the Internet, so if you wanted to impress a bunch of strangers you could just lie and say whatever you want. Obviously it would be more accurate if you just went of the truth and merit.

Personally, when in High School I was in the "Popular" group of kids. We dominated the sports teams all four years, hung out with the "popular" girls (even though I found most of them were stuck up, and gravitated towards the girls that got less attention

), and were looked up on by the underclass men.

Now, I'll say this; None of them knew I was big into manga, anime, comics, etc, and I knew that they surely weren't. For them to find out, it would have been really embarassing. They were really cool and all, but they thought that stuff was stupid. All they really knew was that I was the big Batman guy, and only because that was socially acceptable to be into.

What about your story? How were your friends? Did they like manga? Were you into sports?

Oh High School, ye i was, but i studies sciense and among them i was the only one alone probably, cus well, they were all nerds and i wasnt, i picked the wrong course, but compared to other people in other classes I was popular, i was nice though.
Then things got weird, the nerds told me i was unpopular then i had to redo my year and ended up with people below my age that were nerds but also in another generation. The term popular dousnt really exist in my world.

And OT, my school really didn't have that crowd. I mean there was this group of individuals that considered themselves to be ultra-league, but they were generally laughed at by the rest of the school.

And as for socially acceptable things, I just hate not being myself, so I always broadcast what I'm into.

Well it's my first year in HS so yeah I'm popular. With me a my girl hips anyways it's cute we all sit on a little section where are the freshmen are. Some of them got attitudes but you deal with it by giving them attitude back but in a funny and serious way. Then they'll like you

I guess so, though I never really thought of it like that at the time. All of my friends were pretty cool, most were nice. Some weren't nice but were still fun to hang out with so I didn't really mind. Though I felt a lot closer to my nicer friends than then less "Hospitable ones" not counting a few exceptions. I didn't really associate much to people who might have known about naruto so the fact that I liked it when I was younger never really came up. Made fun of anyone unless it was just me joking around with some friends (on each other). However at one point I believe either in 9th or 10th grade I remember one kid one was a football played talking about it. He was cool so no one cared.

I actually didn't know naruto still continued after the first series, or had a manga until mid-late last year. And didn't really get into NB until after my brother joined. (I found about the manga then).

I really liked basketball and played it for fun, I joined a team but didn't really like it that much. (Didn't have enough time to dedicate to it).

I'm the smartest in the class but I'm not nerd at all
even thought when I was 10 they knew me as Naruto kid,I gave up at Naruto then but started reading it like a year ago,maybe only 1-2 friend know im an otaku

In highschool being on the football team and cutting class everyday I had alot of friends. I never considered myself being in a "popular crowd". If you were cool with me and you never do anything to offend me, I was cool with you. Although I would say I was well known because of my good looks and I had alot of gf's.
