I understand but if they were weak then why not just kick their ass yourself? If you know someone smaller and weaker than you was going to come try to beat you up would you find the strongest guy you knew to go kick their ass? No way. Its overkill. The coup was gonna lead to a civil war and they were afraid that another village would attack them

I never really understood how a clan with such a huge advantage over every other clan ended up being pushed over by Konoha. The Uchiha should've been able to stomp every other village with abilities like Amaterasu, Susano'o, etc. Perhaps only the few Uchihas crucial to the story (Itachi, Madara, Shisui, etc) were ever really extraordinary. Am I missing something here?

Let's all just blame Danzo, he Nearly killed Shisui and took his eye which could of prevented the Coup, for power.
Yet another reason I despise Danzo.

considering they were the second strongest clan no as a whole they are not fodder. as individuals yes they are kinda but lady chiyo said if you going against a sharingan user run. uchiha clan can go toe to toe with any village.

Were they really though? Like someone mentioned a few comments above, they all got killed by TWO people. Like how bad of a shinobi do you have to be to sleep through the massacre of your entire clan?

Listen it's not like every uchiha was strong/ as strong as Itachi, madara, obito and sasuke. Look at senji clan.... Other than tobirama and hashirama who else in the clan was as strong or on a close level to that of the 1st and 2nd. Same thing with hygue clan (Byakugun sorry for spelling :/) who other neji and his uncle were powerful?..... Like someone already stated, Itachi and obito attacked in the middle of the night without warning. When Itachi and obito attacked the clan, the uchiha's had only a few moments "if any" to counter, and not all had/have the ability to counter...... It's very simple :/
