I was worried to be honest because Sumire had some Hinata characteristics at first. But unlike part 1 Hinata she isn't garbage material (battle wise) so I was kinda fine.

And the latest chapter apparently shows that she got rid of that "N-Naruto Kun" syndrom, so I'm proud of her.

I think it's generally hard to speculate on their gesture and facial expression because the art sucks.

as Hinabae's reaching and desperation, Sarada denies any feelings, Sumire confirms clear feelings. Yet somehow Hinabae thinks talking about a team mate and hearing somebody express their feelings for him isn't awkward and somebody would retain a normal expression.

Sarada having interest in Boruto doesn't make sense to me either. It's largely some delusional butthurt Hinata fans for you, they probably want a win over Sakura somehow. They see Boruto Sarada as a win of Hinata over sakura which is kind of pathetic imo.

Boruto saved Sumire's life and she found redemption because of him. She's shown feeling for him in the fish episode and officially confirmed them in this chapter. You dont get clearer than that.

Mitsuki's love and fascination with Boruto goes beyond the sun-moon bonding we've seen so far there could be a clear reveal of that soon enough. The ninja world is moving on perhaps they'll introduce a new pairing for a new world.

Depends of what happened prior to that but this is the fifth page of the chapter so I asume that Sumire wanted to ask Sarada the question if she likes him first to see if the road for her is clear and to somehow start the subject.

What if what Sumire said to Sarada about her liking Boruto... Was the necessary thing to make Sarada realize that if she doesn't step up her game, Boruto might end up with Sumire. I just can't believe that Sarada isn't affected by Boruto, judging from their small interactions together. Kishimoto stated that he had chosen Hinata to be Naruto's wife since the beginning so there's a possibility that who'll be with Boruto has already been decided and I think it's Sarada. It's the Naruto and Sakura that never happened.

How would another Hinata destroy the plot when the original Hinata had next to no involvement in the original plot to begin with? I can literally count on my hands (maybe even one hand) the number of times Hinata actually affected the plot.

Out of 700+ chapters, I'd say Hinata was significant in a little over 1% of them (and I am not even exaggerating).

Semi-agree. Kokoro Connect and Yahari are anime that had love triangles.. The original Naruto series definitely didn't have one. That said, i also wouldn't love to see love triangles in this franchise xD
