Weirdest encounter with a Naruto fan?

I'll share mine. I remember in my freshman year of highschool my friend and I were talking about the War Arc (which I believe started 3 years ago, right?) Anyway, we were talking about Naruto and my science teacher who was really old comes up to us, and then she literally starts joining in on the conversation. She was surprisingly more informed about Naruto than I thought, and she read it casually and then-some. At that point in time I quit reading Naruto because the War arc bored me, but then I caught up when I heard Madara had solo'd my fav.

What's yours weirdest encounter with a Naruto fan that surprised you?

Mainly when I was in Facebook just browsing and I got an invite to a group. It was about anime lovers in my country and all the discussions were all about anime. And in one discussion I took part in, I realised how they were talking about how they understood the manga of Naruto. It was about the time when Naruto and Sasuke got the Rikudou power. And they were heavily discussions and found out how the moon is very similar to the Uchiha crescent and the sun sign to the Uzumaki sun. Having understood that way back, I was surprised how little they knew the symbolic of the manga and just watched it for the power levels and the action, not really understanding the deep meaning it has within it. I was just...surprised.

A good buddy of mine i've known for years whos known as a hardcore party guy heard i was a one piece fan and he asked me if i
Knew the show and i thought he was making fun of me and was gonna laugh at me for watching "childisjh stuff" but then he started talking about it and i was shocked, we then started hanging out more than usual partying and marathoned short animes together and talked about anime a lot and man i felt good

I was so surprised to see Bill Bailey wear that! Thought it must've been some sort of promotion attention thing and someone told him to do it to get his popularity up with nerds or something :L

Also living in a rural area in Ireland sucks as you're surrounded by farmers and GAA (sporty peeps). So I befriended all the anime lovers in school immediately and have been friends for 6-11 years.
