I never said it wasn't the newest, I said it was old. Naruto volume 70 was released august 4th. That's 5 weeks ago, so of course it won't have big numbers in the weekly sales of 1-7 september.

So NARUTO is still at 3rd position on yearly terms. Though it would be interesting to see which between OP & SNK comes 1st this year.

Idk man. It will be close. The old volumes as of now probably don't rack in much as it was doing 6 months ago.
If you look at the latest volume of SNK, #13 on the list, vol. 14 sold 1.6 mil as of last release(about a month ago). OP sold 1.7 in 3 days.

It is clear OP dominates in volume releases. It just depends if these volumes can beat the newer releases + the older volumes, which clearly OP has the potential to do.

A volume comes out for SNK every 4 months right? So SNK will have one more volume before the end of the year.


If Oda can get another volume out before Dec. (given he does not have any more breaks), he may be able to beat SNK.
Otherwise it will depend all on this volume before the end of the year.

Sure this volume can sell more then both 14 and 15 of SNK, but another volume of 3mil+ for OP would secure the deal.





Oh and another thing to note about this list. Looks like Tokyo Ghoul is the new SNK. Seems everyone is buying all the older volumes of this manga now.
