Why don't the characters of naruto cartoon use only kunai,shiruken and swords....why can't they use pistols,shot guns and atomic bombs.and rifles and m16 and other guns and other weapon.??...(....pls don't mention the pain....)

Coz they r ninja not soldier or gangstr. Ninja always use only treditional weapon. Btw ninjutsus r more powerful then pistols etc like fire style,rasensuriken,edo tensi etc.
