He helped Sasuke so that Sasuke wouldn't end up like his predecessors, he is basically just trying to keep Sasuke from becoming another bad guy.

well... sasuke is just getting a power up from the sage, naruto has the bijuu chakras, PLUS the power up from the sage. Naruto is still higher, plus has sage mode.

It was stated clearer than day that they are now equal (along with Ashura and Indra) in this and last chapter, yet Sasuke fans are still trying to deny it.. And Naruto fans aren't doing any better trying to state that Naruto is better than Sasuke. Do you even read the chapters, or just look at the pictures and read when they mention your favorite character's name?

I believe naruto will do anything to make sasuke happy, like hashi did for madara.

Everybody read same manga but still didn't understand...As per Hogoromo/SOP said..

1) Naruto was Child of Prophecy.
2) Apoint above of them, Indra & Ashura as SOP "SUCCESSOR" in current/new generation through Sasuke & Naruto body, to repay his past mistake...

well considering naruto along with what the sage is giving both of them now possesses the chakra of all the beast, they aren't equal. while we don't know what exactly the power the sage is giving them is, we can assume that will be equal. but naruto has 2 upgrades in one, that puts him over the top.
