I haven't watched the video but if he just said " North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen..."

then I don't see anything wrong with it, he is merely saying that NK should stop threatening them or else they will do something about it... essentially he is threatening BACK.

I don't think North Korea will do anything to the US unless they want to get erased off the face of this planet within days. The US possess weapons not yet known to the public which I guess are far more devastating than the nukes people are so afraid of. It's estimated that the US military is at least 20 years ahead of what they show us.

I just wish this nonsense can end one way or another already. North Korea been testing their power for years and the public in the U.S continue to react to them the same way.
With the Presidents holding back while North Korea continues to throw threats, test their weapons and brainwashing their citizens.

Clinton gave them billions of dollars in hopes that they will hold up on the agreement not to further their nuclear weapons development. Which later on turns out the agreement was broken.
Bush called them evil and told them to stop their development in order to have a normalized relationship.
Obama warned them that the U.S won't hesitate to use military might, that "there are consequences to its unlawful and dangerous actions."

And now Trump responding with the same action of using military might but with more bite to his statement. This whole situation is getting old, with no results from both sides. Either do something or shut up.
Clearly North Korea doesn't want peace,so we might as well give them hell.

The scary part is Trump might take the banter seriously.
That's what a world leader is supposed to do. You don't just brush off another country making threats. North Korea won't do shit, and Trump won't do shit. The only thing they'll do is threaten one another. If you think Trump will nuke NK or some shit, knowing that China and SK will get the residual damage from the bomb then I don't know what to say to you.

The main reason North Korea makes threats against the U.S. is because in reality they're lacking resources and making threats in exchange for agreements is the only leverage they have.

North Korea held their agreement up until Bush cut off their fuel oil shipments. There was no evidence of them making more nuclear weapons at the time. And Bush got his intelligence from the same agency that said that Iraq was the base for Al Qaeda and that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

I'd rather not advocate for war. The biggest problem with the U.S. is that it sticks its nose into everyone's business and causes more problems than it solves. People like to criticize Clinton for advocating regime change, such as Libya, yet Trump is doing the same thing; but instead he's met with praise by his supporters.

Either stay consistent or admit your hypocrisy.

Yet North Korea literally threatened to send missiles at Guam a few hours after Trump said they will be met with "Fire and Fury" if they threaten the U.S. again....

And Republicans are advocating for outright war with North Korea. I'm worried about what the U.S. will do more than North Korea. Both leaders are megalomaniacs and are obsessed with their image. Trump already sent missiles at Syria because of something he saw on Fox News.

If you're telling me that Trump takes the time to think about the repercussions of his decision-making, I simply won't believe you.

Also, I'd like to point out that Trump has explicitly stated his thoughts on what we should do to North Korea. He ignored the interviewer when he mentioned having a risk of unprecedented Nuclear Fallout from a preemptive strike.

Is Trump the first president in modern history to brag about how 'powerful' a nation America is? That's rare and dangerous talk when what he values is military strength rather than pride in the people.

Sure a world leader is supposed to respond. We know NK won't do shit because they are pump-fakers. They've done this sort of thing for years. As far as my boss, no one is really sure. We've seen how he lashes out and does things against the advice of those closest to him.

I also never said he'd nuke anyone. However a conventional strike is easy for us and and a counter attack would be pretty much futile. That's why Trump can say what he wants because he knows anything they shoot at us most likely will not hit its mark. Trump knows what he's doing in some aspects but, that road will still draw blood from our side.

Sooner or later, NK will be neutralized and annexed, when I don't know but if Trump makes it happen then oh well. If it isn't him then someone else will draw blood from our side.

That I already know.
North Korea top trade partners are China along with a few other countries such as India,Russia and Thailand. When a particular source gets cut off they will start throwing threats. Like when China suspended their coal imports.

Also North Korea didn't held their end of the agreement up since the intelligence agencies discovered that North Korea were using another method by working on highly-enriched uranium. Bush administration sent out an envoy to confront them and later in 2002 the regime confirmed it.
Which Bush responded by cutting off their fuel supply that was apart of the agreement.

Them working on enriched uranium didn't breach the agreement. There was no evidence of developing nukes.

I don't think he dodged it. He literally didn't say a nuclear preemptive strike. He's likely talking about a conventional weapon which could still do ridiculous amounts of damage. Now whether that would trigger nuclear fallout I'm not sure. I really don't think it would. There are way too many fail safes for nuclear warheads.
