I just wish this nonsense can end one way or another already. North Korea been testing their power for years and the public in the U.S continue to react to them the same way.
With the Presidents holding back while North Korea continues to throw threats, test their weapons and brainwashing their citizens.
Clinton gave them billions of dollars in hopes that they will hold up on the agreement not to further their nuclear weapons development. Which later on turns out the agreement was broken.
Bush called them evil and told them to stop their development in order to have a normalized relationship.
Obama warned them that the U.S won't hesitate to use military might, that "there are consequences to its unlawful and dangerous actions."
And now Trump responding with the same action of using military might but with more bite to his statement. This whole situation is getting old, with no results from both sides. Either do something or shut up.
Clearly North Korea doesn't want peace,so we might as well give them hell.
The main reason North Korea makes threats against the U.S. is because in reality they're lacking resources and making threats in exchange for agreements is the only leverage they have.
North Korea held their agreement up until Bush cut off their fuel oil shipments. There was no evidence of them making more nuclear weapons at the time. And Bush got his intelligence from the same agency that said that Iraq was the base for Al Qaeda and that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
I'd rather not advocate for war. The biggest problem with the U.S. is that it sticks its nose into everyone's business and causes more problems than it solves. People like to criticize Clinton for advocating regime change, such as Libya, yet Trump is doing the same thing; but instead he's met with praise by his supporters.
Either stay consistent or admit your hypocrisy.
I haven't watched the video but if he just said " North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen..."
then I don't see anything wrong with it, he is merely saying that NK should stop threatening them or else they will do something about it... essentially he is threatening BACK.
I don't think North Korea will do anything to the US unless they want to get erased off the face of this planet within days. The US possess weapons not yet known to the public which I guess are far more devastating than the nukes people are so afraid of. It's estimated that the US military is at least 20 years ahead of what they show us.
Yet North Korea literally threatened to send missiles at Guam a few hours after Trump said they will be met with "Fire and Fury" if they threaten the U.S. again....
And Republicans are advocating for outright war with North Korea. I'm worried about what the U.S. will do more than North Korea. Both leaders are megalomaniacs and are obsessed with their image. Trump already sent missiles at Syria because of something he saw on Fox News.
If you're telling me that Trump takes the time to think about the repercussions of his decision-making, I simply won't believe you.
Also, I'd like to point out that Trump has explicitly stated his thoughts on what we should do to North Korea. He ignored the interviewer when he mentioned having a risk of unprecedented Nuclear Fallout from a preemptive strike.
