Considering how almost all manipulation water techniques require water source, this one is a basic technique that falls under this category. The user manipulates the water around and creates four sharks. Well, this technique can be easily evaded by escaping upwards or have an omnidirectional shiled of earth that renders the sharks useless. The range is kind of unamusing. Although, if hit, this technique can crush enemy's bones and leave him in a vulnerable postion, which can benefit you in many ways.

This technique is also a good one to use, which has all the three usages. Though, I'd usually use this technique in defenisve formation, as it can block every fire technique. The force of the vortex can be enough to render an opponent unconscious. Since it requires water source, you can create the vortex wherever you could make use of it, you can even form the vortex beneath enemy's legs, to scare him off and also harm him severely due to the spinning movement of the vortex. Because this technique is of a huge scale, it blocks your sight of your enemy and vice versa. Although this was unnecessary to say, as it is a common disadvantage/advantage.

Final two in this method:

(Suiton: Mizu Shishi) - Water Release: Water Beast
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user after performing the Dog → Horse → Monkey → Ram and by manipulating a pre-existing water source and transforms it into a giant wolf-like beast. The beast can launch powerful streams of water from its mouth equivilant to B rank, or sweep the area with its claws to let a powerful torrent of water to wash away the enemies.
Note: The Water Beast remains active for three turns

You weave four handseals, and insert your chakra into a water source, which should be quite ample for the technique. You simply can't use a small puddle lmao. So yeah, you shape manipulate the water to give it the shape of a giant wolf like creature. Now, the specialty of this creature is that, it can exhale out B-Rank streams of water from it's mouth, which is pretty nice. But, these streams of water are very generic, meaning they're just plain water streams with damage equivalent to B-Rank. You can also make the beast use it's claws to form powerful torrents of water, which can wash away a medium amount of area, and multiple opponents. Any damage A-Rank and above, and it reforms into a massive amount of water. To maintain the shape and form of the beast, you have to fuel chakra to the technique, thus it isn't very combo friendly, but considering it can use it's claws and exhale out streams, you can prevent opponents from entering close range or form another source of water for you. It disperses after three turns are over. I'd say, use it along with a clone.

( Suiton: Arekuruu Hayase ) - Water Release: Raging Rapids
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: Using their skills with Water Release, the user generates a powerful vortex of water around their enemy with a swing of their arm that sends them flying upwards and then dispels it with another hand gesture. (Requires a water source).
Note: Tobirama and Mei terumi can perform this without a water source.

This is again a vortex of water, but with some difference. You insert your Water chakra into a suitable water source and manipulate it to generate forth a powerful vortex around the opponent, by adding rotation to your chakra. This vortex is generated by the motion of your hand, which would rotate violently and send the opponent flying linearly upwards. You can also choose to dispel the vortex with another hand gesture, whenever you like. This is extremely useful to lead your opponent into traps or put him in a vulnerable position, following up with a combo afterwards. This is pretty fast in it's performance, added that it doesn't require handseals.

Another good one, love it. The wolf can release streams which is a nice distraction for your opponent, as well as they can use their claws and shoot torrents of water, capable of destroying minor earth and other elemental shields. The torrents are huge enough so its range can catch several opponents too. Also, these are all equivalent to B rank, pretty neat I must say. Because you need to maintain the wolf after you perform a string of handseals, twould be wise to use this with a clone. This way you would have two allies, able to give the opponent a hard time. Overall a lovely technique.

And this, is another vortex related technique, not as good as the one above but it's alright. In order to perform this, you need a water source and a simple hand swing, which generates a middle sized vortex towards your opponent, which can push him away as well as lead him into traps or leave him airborne, vulnerable to other attacks etc. Its a nice technique to block Tai attacks, as it's very quick. Nothing to say more I guess.

Hmm, the name of this method implies liquid water substances as in, oil, syrups etc. They can be sticky, make an opponent trip/slip and shit like that. According to my knowledge, these kind of techniques are done without water source, so an user needs some handseals and yeah. And there goes all my knowledge about this method.

Nice.

Method 4: Alternative Releases (Water/Oil/Syrup)

This method will be easy. Basically these are techniques that create a different substance than the water, however, they still fall within the category of Suiton release. They are liquids that possess different properties than ordinary water, for example: Oil and syrup. Oil is a flammable substance, one wouldn't use this to combat fire but rather fuel it, and with syrup you create a much stickier viscosity of liquid that doesn't necessarily flow as fast as water but it gives a more adhesive property to it.

This is a very unique version of Water Release. Most of them are spat from the mouth.

The pros of the techs that fall under tis category are that they can give an opponent a hard time, when they are dashing towards you. You can release a syrup water technique which would be adhesive of nature and make the opponent slip, potentially breaking his neck or some bones. (not possible in our rp though lool) it slows down them so you have an advantage. Oil can also fuel the fire, which is my 2nd fav element.

The disadv is that these are pretty much useless when the opponent is airborne. And you need to think of the range as well, cause there are moments when you might get yourself caught in the oil/syrup substances too. Usually countered with elemental techniques which can shatter through the adhesive subs and/or render the oil substances useless.

Let me sugarcoat w/e you said:

Advantages to Method

They don’t follow the traditional rules for suiton techniques meaning the techniques have a fairly new set of rules that govern them. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is an advantage as you become capable of using these techniques in situations where you may not normally be able to because of an elemental weakness or some other occurrence.

Disadvantage of Method

As said above, the fact that these techniques don’t follow traditional suiton rules also comes as a disadvantage. Though you may be able to use these techniques in situations where you normally couldn’t at the same time you may become vulnerable in another situation where you weren’t previously with other water techniques. For example; you wouldn’t use an oil rain technique when your opponent is spewing a fire at you. Oil augments fire and even though it’s still “water release” it is a disadvantage.

One more point I want to add; normally, people would counter water with wind or earth, but in this case, wind would be quite harmful, if the oil is used as a medium to form fire.

Don't place the jutsus which are character specific. Other than that, here is the list:

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

(Suiton: Kokuun) - Water Style: Black Clouds
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description:After performing the Ram → Snake → Tiger hand seals the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field

Next up, method 5:

Method 5: Specifics

Basically, these are techniques that don’t fall within the above listed categories. These techniques may possess similar qualities to the techniques in some of the other methods, however, for the most part they are more unique in their abilities and aren’t classifiable in this system together in other methods

The advantages and disadvantages are tech specific. What types of techs would you think would fall in these?

The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

(Suiton: Gufuu Suika) - Water Style: Typhoon Water Vortex
Rank: A
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30

Note: No water source required.
Note: Can only be used with either a clone or an ally

Edit: Can you explain why Water Whip falls under specifics?
