Ninja:A ninja is one who endures to achieve there goals but can change depending on what their goals is.
Chakra: Its a type of physical energy and spiritual energy that is present in every ninja/person. You use chakra to perform different tasks like Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, And genjutsu. Chakra can be manipulated with hand seals and turned into an element.
Elements: their are 5 basic elements (lighting,earth,water,fire,and wind). Everyone who has chakra has a specific type of Element that they can use. They are considered the foundation of every Ninjutsu. There are some people who have more then 1 element in the chakra. That is called a Kekkei genkai. All this elements have both weakness and strengths, and some can even be combined to form an even stronger jutsu.

I would say it is not at all upto the mark, I would like you to try again and this time put more hard work into it and use naruto wikia if needed.

Ninja: A ninja is a protector of the village. Ninja's are given mission that have a purpose for the village. E-S Rank missions are what are classed E-being the easiest and S-being the hardest. Ninja's are expected to always be loyal to the village and obey there rules and any mission given to them. Ninja's have for weapons "jutsu". To use a jutsu the ninja needs to use and manipulate their chakra. Also by using hand seals the jutsu is molded what the ninja is requesting. Specific jutsu's are Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu.
Chakra: Is a type of energy every living person has. The energy comes from both Physical and Spiritual. Chakra is essential for even the most basic jutsu. Chakra can be manipulated in different ways, mainly by performing hand seals. With chakra you can do basic things like walk on water, or make a shadow clone of yourself. Chakra is not normally visible to the human eye. But sometimes when a person release more chakra then usual their can be a image of the chakra, most chakra is colored blue (tailed beasts have a reddish type of chakra color). Their are two specific chakra stages or images (can't find a better word)
Chakra control- Its a term for controlling ones chakra and molding it how the user seems fit. Only the most skilled ninja can manipulate chakra the way they request. Some forms can vary one example is the rasengan which has a sphere shape, with great rotation speed.
Ninjutsu: Its a type of weapon used by a ninja for many purposes like Defense or Offense and Ninjutsu can even be used for healing someone. The effect's of a ninjutsu attack is real and can sometimes be life threatening. Ninjutsu vary is attack power by channeling more chakra or manipulating it. Ninjutsu, most of the time, relies on chakra and hand seals to be effective.When creating a ninjutsu, the two methods of manipulating chakra are referred to as shape transformation and nature transformation. Chakra shape manipulation and Chakra nature manipulation.

A water technique that is C-rank can easily put out a C-rank fire technique. But it would still lose to a C-rank earth technique. You can though use combine you chakra ninjutsu with elements that goes well with each other for example fire and lighting.

Chakra- Chakra is form of energy which is produced when one combines both his physical and spiritual energy, physical energy is one's own life energy and one can make improvement's in this field and therefor Ninja train vigorously to improve it, spiritual energy on other hand means mental or spiritual energy.
Some people with high physical energy- Uzumaki and Senju Clan, Kisame.
Some people with high Spiritual energy- Uchiha clan, Yamanaka Clan, Kurama clan.

Ninjutsu like you said is basically of 2 type nature transformation and Shape transformation.
Nature transformation- It is nothing but providing your chakra with an specific elemental nature, It stronger than raw and unmolded Chakra, all the basic 5 elements are its example.
Shape transformation- It is providing your chakra with basic shapes just like in case of Rasenga, by doing so one is able to increase its damage dealing properties and as well as defensive properties.
Element's- Nothing to add there for the time being though learn there japnese name they may come handy.

Suiton= Water
Doton= Earth
Futon= Wind
Raiton= Lightning.

Water release: Water is gentle and pure. It has no official shape or form unless you make it that way in the narutoverse with nature manipulation. It is one of the 5 basic elemental chakra natures. Water can allow the user to manipulate per-existing water or make their own. It takes much more ability though to make your own water and only some of the greatest shinobi can do so (Tobirama senju).Offensive water techniques seem to inflict harm from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human.Water release can change its form easily and also can be hardened with another Nature (Wind)
Advantage:Water is strong against fire because it smooths out and extinguish the flames.
Disadvantage: Water is weak against earth,because earth structures can dissipate the force of water almost making the technique useless.
Combinations:Water can be a combination with other Nature chakra as well, its actually considered very durable.

It also goes well with wind because cool winds can harden the water and make into ice. Makes for good defense and offense. Remember water techniques are fast but not as fast as lightning or Wind, most of the water techniques require a water source to be performed and thus every terrain is not beneficial for a suiton user.

- - Insert info - Doesn't require a source of water which means you can use this technique where ever you are.
- - Insert info - Is a very durable jutsu meaning it can be used for offense,defense,and supplementary. So its a jutsu you can use for any use.

Ways to counter: You can easily use a earth defensive technique to stop any attack from the jutsu. You might even use a cool wind technique to make the water into ice and making the jutsu useless to anybody who doesn't have ice release.
(I have yet to begin earth training so i think i didn't do this part correctly)

2. Great to use for short-range shield so anybody with taijutsu might have trouble.
Okay, now this is a tricky situation due to couple of things, first if the opponent is already at short range from you, I don't think you can create a defense fast enough to avoid a punch because you will basically mold chakra and expel it and even shape manipulate it to certain extent, where as your opponent just has to land a blow, I hope you understand what I mean to convey here?
Secondly, If your opponent is say at mid range and see's you create the defense while approaching you to land a strike than I think he will only be a stupid to still attack you head on, if it was me I will rather use it my advantage by throwing a flash bomb at the side of the shield thus blinding you and then attack you.
3. Nice idea for combination but believe it will be really hard to pull it off.
4. You CAN NOT FREZE water jutsu using wind that something only a member of Yuki clan can do, so please remember it.
