Minato gets back onto the water and waits for the clone to get beside him. As he forms the water beneath the clone into a ball, he uses it to trap the clone in a ball of water. Using his free right hand, he draws his sword and stabs through the water and through the clones left eye. Quickly putting his sword away, Minato moulds his water chakra in the sky above him which happens to have a few clouds in it; causing a heavy rain to fall down onto the training grounds. Suddenly Minato feels something approaching him at great speed from above, having almost no time to react he uses his water chakra to turn himself into water itself, with the kunai simply fazing through him and splashing into the water below him. Minato then reforms himself into flesh and squints at Jakai as if to call him a d*ck for almost stabbing him with a kunai.

Advantages of water prison
• The opponent can't move, making an handseal or movement based techniques impossible.
• Requires no hand seals

Disadvantages of water prison
• Can't mould any chakra while sustaining the technique
• It is only short range

Advantages of rain
• Gives me the ability to basically sense where things are around me
• It's long range

Disadvantages of rain
• Lightning techniques not recommended (this is obviously "shocking")
• The sensing cabability of the rain will be rendered useless if the opponent merges with something such as the ground or their shadow

Advantages of the liquify jutsu
• Physical techniques are rendered basically useless for the most part
• Can be used to escape from a seemingly inescapable technique that would kill you otherwise

Disadvantages
• If the opponent uses a lightning tech, it does way more damage against me
• Attacks like a strong enough fire ball will still harm be as it'll be hot and possibly vaporize me

The explanations were fine, but no possible counters or unique situations in which to use the techniques. But, it was time to move on. Jakai crossed out the techniques and proceeded.

One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the user's own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the user's senses. When the rain is obstructed by chakra belonging to someone, the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Jakai then spoke. "Alright, moving on. Water Release: Rising Water Cutter, Water Release: Water Gun, and Water Release: Water Heavens Convergence. Let's go. We'll be using the dummies for targets again.

Now for the Rising Water Cutter, you'll perform the Tiger hand seal and slam your foot on the ground. Subsequently, this'll cause water to rise up and travel towards a designated target as a slicing jet. The technique does move fairly quickly, but it's straightforward and clear to see.

For the next technique, you'll be performing a technique in which you spit a wave of water form your mouth. This technique is highly compressed and can easily carve through earth. If you recall the Chaos Water Wave technique, then you'll see how this technique is similar.

Lastly, you'll perform a series of handseals and cause water to rise up from the ground. The purpose of this technique varies and offers a myriad of different uses. It can commonly be used in conjunction with aquatic life form summonings, so that they may survive on land. But it can also be used as a means of defense or to surround an area and make a target drown. For this technique, there is no need to perform it.

Please, perform the jutsus unless stated otherwise, analyze them with appropriate strengths and weaknesses. Please state possible counters and/or situations in which you could use the tech. It'd also be wonderful if you gave your own personal opinion on the techs as well."

Finally having joined Kumogakure, Ichigo's first assignment was to travel to the Land of Wind to deliver a letter to the Kazekage mansion in Sunagakure. Having delivered the letter, Ichigo was leaving the village when he spotted a man who looked shockingly familiar, although Ichigo knew he had never met the man before, the man still intrigued him. He approached the man and spoke to him politely. "Excuse my rudeness, but you seem familiar to me, may I ask your name?"

OOC: I'll reply with the jutsu using Jakai's template soon, thought I should start this off with some RP. Sorry for the delay, life has been hectic, hopefully you didn't drop me yet ^^

"My name is Souji... yours?" the polite tone of Ichigo's voice didn't suit him much. Maybe it was the existing stereotype about protagonist-types and the way he looked. Either way, the apparent familiarity he had for Souji might've been classified as stalking in another universe.

Ichigo has black hair in this form lol


Ichigo watched as Souji sat up and spoke his name. Then it suddenly clicked in his mind, he knew where he had known Souji from. "Souji! You completed my Katon training a while back, it feels like it's been ages man. How have you been?" Ichigo speaks clearly even though bandages cover most of his face, including his mouth.

Souji tilted his head quizzically. Wait...

"OH! You... I think I remember you... Katon training, huh? Hmm..."

He furrowed his brow, racking his brains to try and remember. Maybe Ichigo had gotten a makeover or something. The bandages were probably a good indication of that. He scratched his head, running his fingers through his grey hair and fixing it. Bedhead sucked z.z

"So... I had a request to train a student. Is it you? Uhhh... dude?" Souji tried to play off the fact he still didn't know or remember Ichigo's name. If he had just kept his old look, maybe he'd remember. For all he knew, this person might've been a girl before, because that was totally possible these days.

Ichigo looks at the puzzled Souji and sighs. "Ichigo...Ichigo Uchiha. How have things been? Haven't really seen you around, then again, it's a big world.." Ichigo stares blankly into the clear sunny sky, thinking about all that has transpired the past couple of months since he had completed his fire training with Souji.

Ichigo motioned toward an open clearing not too far outside the gates of Sunagakure. After walking there, Ichigo turned to once more speak to Souji. "Hmmm let's see. We are continuing my training in the water element. Seems me and Jakai left off at the C Rank, Rising Water Cutter. That's what Jakai had planned on teaching me next according to this list. Ichigo tosses a scroll over to Souji, it has 3 different techniques written on it. Water Release: Rising Water Cutter, Water Release: Water Gun, and Water Release: Water Heavens Convergence.

The scroll bops against Souji's head, and he tilts his head absentmindedly.

"Ok. Tell me what you learned about each of those jutsus." he said, putting his hands into his pockets and leaning on one of his legs in a casual stance.
