Water is an element that flows and repells force. Unlike earth with it's solid foundation, rooted to the ground, water flows with the enviornment around around it, rarely in opposition but flowing in a harmony with the rest of nature. Though water has a ferocious side; tidalwaves, hurricanes, large floods, water can be used to cause a lot of damage and it possesses its own power and force when enough of the element is behind it for guidance. Though it isn't solid it has it's own potential to be powerful. Water can flow rapidly, forcibly sweeping away objects and people down a powerful stream and flow.

Water is naturally strong against water and weak against earth. Fire is super heated, the molicuels of Fire move at a rapid pace, which is what gives fire it's heat. Water has the ability to cool and slow down the molicules in fire essentially dousing it and preventing the fire from maintaining the stability needed for it to survive. As for eath, though water does prove to be powerful in it's own right, the solidified entity of earth proves to be a much stronger and more stable force and stronger force than water. Offensively earth and blow through water, dispersing it and defensively earth holds firm and water will generally pass around it as water will not be strong enough and will look for an alternate path.

However, when working in conjunction with the other elements water can become an even more devestating weapon that it already is. When added with strong enough fire, water can become water vapor and turn into it's gasous state and create a deadly steam which can be used to scortch your opponent with the gases extreme heat or be used as cover for you to use your other techniques and surprise your opponent. As water is a natural conductor for electricity, water can be used to house even lightning and with a wide range of water the lightning can spread causing more damage through electrocution. Though a sub form of earth, when combined with water earth becomes mud, which is primarily for adhesive purposes. Wind can be used in conjunction with water for a couple purposes; among which could be to cool down the molicules within the water and turn it into it's solid form Ice; this is how the kekkei genkai of Ice Release has come into existance. However wind can also be used to expand the range of water, primarily on the vertical and/or horizontal plains in order to have certian water techniques (usually with wave like properties) a larger range to capture your opponent. Also, with wind's natural speed it also assists the water making the water much quicker, carrying more velocity and thereby more force upon impact with one's opponent.

Here is the list of techniques that employ this method (Handseal > Charge Water in Gut > Spit a Water Projectile). Like the method says, none of them require a water source.

Description: A water projectile shaped like a shark that comes crashing down on the opponent.

Similar to the ones above, but has the shape of a shark thus is more hydrodynamic and aerodynamic. It is still essentially a water projectile, so it won't change speed mid-air/underwater.

Description: The user performs Tiger – Serpent hand seals to create a stronger version of the Water Release: Water shark Bomb technique, which creates a gigantic shark, far larger than the user, to attack the opponent. This technique differs from its parent jutsu in being able to absorb the chakra from an opponent's technique, and in turn use that chakra to grow larger and more powerful.
Note: Technique can only absorb up to B rank level techniques.

The strongest water projectile technique. Is basically the same as the Shark projectile I mentioned previously, at a much bigger scale and with the power to absorb weaker techniques without loosing power or speed, which translates in the jutsus being incorporated into the shark (Earth adds debris which increases the tangibility/mass f the shark, Fire heats it up, Water adds more substance/mass, Lightning electrifies it, Wind lowers the temperature and sharpens the edges, increasing speed).

next method is Method 2: Streams/Water Sources.

These techniques also require no water source to be preformed, and are in fact one of the best ways to actually create a water source. They stand as the ability to materialize a more continuous and thus bigger stream of water, instead of a short-timed shot of water, like in the previous method.

You can preform these techniques in two forms:

1. Handseals
2. Charge Chakra in the Gut
3. Spit out a continuous stream of water.

or

1. Handseals
2. Charge Chakra in the air
3. Materialize a great mass of water from nothing and direct it at your opponent.


Since it's continues, it carries more force than a projectile, so if a stream jutsu is of the same rank as a projectile, although the initial collision would be equal, the stream would continue to push afterwards. It is also a great way to create a water source to manipulate afterwards.

Another great way of using it is, if the range of the technique allows, materializing the water right on top/around your opponent. If you preform it correctly, you could encase your opponent in water and drown him, or, if the opponent is using a lightning jutsu, it will cause your opponent to electrocute himself.

But there is a disadvantage, as noted by a mist01. Since you are continuously and actively delivering chakra and water, it will make you vulnerable or at least distracted to other jutsus. I know for a fact that Izuna enjoys disrupting people's jutsus whenever he has the chance. There is an advantage to continuous output of water (or wind, fire, etc), as you can push continuously, but it also means you're busy for a longer duration of time.

You can, at any point of the technique, dispel it and quickly focus on something else, but the danger remains, and you should be aware of it.

The same disadvantage is posed in Fire Techniques that use continues flames. I pointed that out with Dprain in our training. Though with fire you have more of a direction you can take the techniques since most of the streams created are exhaled from the mouth and you can thus, steer it. If you continue to steer it as the stream gets bigger, it may cause your opponent to need to move out of the way. The same can be said for water techniques that are like this and are created from the mouth. Though there's always the defense and counter to these with the element's weakness. Isn't Izuna the Sage of Water? He has like every water varrient CE out there lol I would assume he knows how to exploit the weaknesses of the element.

I have one question. It's about a collaboration with a clone. If you were to use a large watersource creating technique and say you have a clone, could your clone use a techniuqe that would otherwise require a Water souce from that technique while in mid-creation.

Like the Water Shockwave technique. That's been said to create a pretty sizable amount of water. Could you use techniques that require a water source with that technique while it's still technically being created? And for that matter could your opponent in turn do the same and possibly turn it on you, or would they need to wait until the technique has ended and your chakra no longer fuels it?

Since your clone shares your chakra, you can create a water source and at the same time have a clone using it and manipulating it. But general rule is that, when the water is being manipulated, you must force the chakra with a superior technique or block it. For example. A B rank jutsu, you can try to overpower it by using an A rank technique, or a B rank technique on just a small portion of the original one (Chakra is more spread out in the original one, thus a focused chakra of the same rank would do the trigger). you can also block it, for example, with an Earth technique and then manipulate the stagnant water. It can be as fast as taking it as soon as the water hits the earth, you don't necessarily have to wait till it falls on the ground.

Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Rat β†’ Snake β†’ Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

Works similarly to previous techniques. The difference is that once the stream reaches a certain distance, about 1, 1.5 meters from your mouth, it inverts, as if it hit an invisible wall, and it forms a strong sphere around you.

(Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave

Description: This technique is a stronger version of exploding water colliding wave technique. Similar to technique I taught previously. Instead of spreading out, the water forms into a gigantic orb, with you in it's center. As you move, so does the orb, if you wish it so.

Pretty much, yeah.

Well then, Method 3: Water Manipulation.

It stands as the ability to apply your chakra onto any water source around you, and re-shape it, move it around, give it motion. Through this method, you are able to give water almost any use. It plays out similarly as the other methods. First you make Handseals, then you spread chakra on any water source within range, then you make that water source preform any action you want it to preform.

Except a few exception, ALL the jutsus require a Water Source.

I don't have any questions concerning the method, my last question about the clone being able to manipulate the water of your technique while you're creating the technique would've been my question but I just remembered you answered that.

Oh, with a Tobirama bio, should you have water mastered is there any rule against his using jtusu that require water? He's not a specialized bio since little is significant about him that he can make him a specialized bio yet :T_T: It's all circumstancial and vague :T_T: I'm sorry, he's just my favorite character and he's been trolled -_- Anyway, would he be a rule exception to this, or is he treated like any other bio

What do you mean? Are you asking if he can use jutsus that required a water source without water source? I don't think he can... You'll have to ask a RP Mod.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. Turns water into a clone with all the restrictions said above. They are tangible, so they can use average taijutsu.

(Suiton: Suigandan) - Water Release: Water Fang Bullet

Description: A technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications.

Brings forth water and makes it spiral on itself. It acts as a projectile afterwards.

Description: The user first performs Snake β†’ Ram β†’ Horse β†’ Hare β†’ Ram β†’ Horse β†’ Hare and by tspreading their hands out forward they can use this jutsu to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. The target is unable to move while within it. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the jutsu, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

I've taught you this jutsu already. I'm mentioning it again because you can achieve it by manipulating existing water, which is the point of this 3rd Method.

Description: The user slashes a body of water, creating a pillar of water that launches the enemy into the air. He then releases five water sharks that attack the enemy until one devours them before imploding, launching the enemy into the air. The remaining water sharks surround the enemy and force them under water where they implode in on the enemy. It is known that if the sharks are damaged, they can regenerate themselves, unless completely destroyed.
Note: To reform the sharks require a water source.

Firstly you use your water chakra to make the water erupt stronger and faster, throwing your opponent in the air. Then you release 5 water shakrs (You don't need water source for that part) that you can shoot towards your enemy before you make one implode upon your enemy. You can control the sharks freely in mid-air, allowing them to turn around and attack again as you wish. If they are damaged but not completely destroyed, you can make them dive on a water source and that will repair them.

(Suiton: Senijikizame) – Water Release: A Thousand Feeding Sharks

Description: A much more powerful version of the Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks, the user creates one thousand sharks out of water, and they enter a wall formation, raining down to attack the opponent.

You're allowed Forbiddens, I believe. But this jutsu ((Suiton: Senijikizame) – Water Release: A Thousand Feeding Sharks) specifically says Kage ranked, so you can't.

Well then, Method 4: Alternative Releases.

Apart from manipulating/creating normal clear water, you are able to use Water Chakra to bring forth different types of water, such as Oil and Sticky Syrup. Although they fit under water jutsus, they have different properties.

Oil has very high flammability but it's conductivity is a bit lower than water's. You basically create a black oil which you can use to power up your fire jutsus, giving them more substance. Likewise, you can lit the oil on fire by using a paper bomb.

Sticky Syrup is not flammable and it's conductivity is also lower than water's. Though, like the name says, it's very sticky, and can trap your opponents and restrict their movements.
