I begin by gathering Chakra throughout my body, which I change to Water Style, then use to perform the Water Clone Jutsu. I have my Water Clone stand in front of me, as I channel yet more Chakra, this time into my hand. Once the Chakra's nature has been prepared, I take my hand, which is flattened into a straight palm, and "slap" the clone, inserting my Chakra into the clone, then using Shape Manipulation to change the shape of the Clone, changing it from a humanoid, a damn handsome one at that, into an equally handsome projectiles. As I continue the motion from my slap, I fire the projectiles off into the distance, where they inevitably dissipate. The whole motion is reminiscent of a used by the Akatsuki's Itachi and Kisame, or at least part of it, lending it some credibility.

This one is nice. If you have the clone engage your opponent, then approach from behind the clone, and use this within Close Range, it's almost guaranteed to hit, considering there is virtually no time to defend or see the attack coming, if you do approach from the right angle that is. I'll certainly keep this technique in mind for future usages with the Water Clone.

Next, I gather Water Chakra in my dominant hand, and perform a series of punches and kicks on thin air, visualizing an enemy reacting tpo these moves. As my imaginary target is launched into the air, I follow suit, and release the Chakra gathered in my hand, and release it in the form of a arcing blade of Water. (Sorry for the lack of detail, this one's rather bare-boned.)

Took me a bit, but I found the . One of the old NUN Games, used by Tobirama. It's nice that they incorporate the Tai into it, instead of making it another projectile Jutsu. Other than that, it's cool. Nothing to add.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.

First of all, this technique can either be used on yourself, or your target. What you will do is send your water chakra into the earth below and from that you will send it over to your target, and then it will form into water. Pushing them up into the air, so that leaves them open for an attack, and removes their balance, or you can use it on yourself to dodge a technique.

Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.

Firstly perform the seal. Then by sending your water chakra to your right arm, you will create water around said arm. From that you will thrust your arm forwards releasing the water in the form of a bullet that doesn't piece but has enough force behind it to push your target back a bit.

I gather Chakra in my feet and change it's nature to Water. I then channel this Chakra into the ground, and use Shape Manipulation to create a small body of Water, which I then use to propel myself into the air. I repeat this process, this time using it to knock you off balance and laugh evilly while twirling an imaginary moustache. :snick:

Not much can be said about this technique. It's usage is handy, but limited to specific purposes, either for an assisted dodge, or for a moment where the target is knocked off balance. Not bad purposes, not in the slightest, just limited. Anyway, good technique. I'll keep it in mind if I'm in a pinch, and quick upwards movement is my only option.​

I perform the Ram Seal, and gather the Chakra in my right arm. As I build it up, I change it's nature to Water, and proceed to channel it in a way that Water begins to slowly form around my arm. As I continue to channel the Chakra, and create more Water, I pull my right fist back, preparing for a basic Karate-style punch. I drive my fist forward, rotating it while I do so, I release the Water in the form of a small projectile blast that travels a few feet before coming apart. I then try this on a nearby tree, at a closer range, yielding some decent results, making the bark peel slightly. (Big deal, huh?)

Besides using this to augment some free form Tai in a match that I clearly have the upper hand in, I don't really see a use for this technique, since the range makes it hard to perform at a reasonable distance without interruption. So, yeah, don't think I'll be using this one all that often.​

this merely creates moving water behind, and beneath you - it carries you, allowing you to reach your target faster, as well giving you an option to attack them with your sword if you decide to.

( Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi ) - Water Release: Flowing Whip

Similar to the lightning whip, just out of water. Kinda simple, and not the best of techniques but can be used creatively.

I start by gathering Chakra in me feet, before changing it's Nature to Water through Nature Manipulation. In a similar manner to how (Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Cutter was used in the Movie, I release a stream of Water, that produces a stream of Water below my feet to raise myself off the ground, while also releasing Water from my ankle, aimed backwards, thus creating forward momentum in the process. I use this to propel myself a short distance, before I pull out my sword, and perform a few slashes, using the momentum from the propelling Water wave to somewhat increase the damage and speed of the swings.

Besides acting like a dulled down "fast-movement" technique, and incorporating Kenjutsu into it, there isn't much that makes this Jutsu stand out. The actual usages of the Jutsu are actually very nice, allowing you to quickly close a gap between yourself and your target, and perform some "freeform" Kenjutsu attacks that are covered by the technique so that's nice, but at the same time, it isn't anything unique. Like I said, just a "fast movement" technique, that isn't that fast when you look at the technique it was based on.​

I gather Chakra in my mouth, and change it's Nature to Water, using it to generate a relatively large quantity of Water. Then, by placing the index and middle finger on my right hand up to my lips, I use Shape Manipulation to gather and form the Water in my mouth and shape it into a whip, which I swing around and practice using before halting the flow of my Chakra, undoing the Jutsu.

, not a bad Jutsu. Like you pointed out, similar to the Lightning version, only it's Water. I can't remember if this variant was from earlier in the Jutsu list (been that long since I've actually looked...) but I distinctly remember another Water based Whip Jutsu that was used in the "Lost Movie" where they had to protect the Hidden Waterfall Village, one of the antagonists, the female, used a Jutsu to bind a character, and I think she even channelled Lightning Chakra through it, but like I said, it's been that long since I've looked or even thought about that "movie". xD

Anyway, nice quick creation and the freedom to do what you want with it. Nice and simple, but effective Jutsu because the freedom it offers.​

I gather Chakra in my hands before changing it's nature to Water. I then raise my hand into the air, releasing the Water Style Chakra into the air. Using this Chakra, I gather small amounts of water vapour and moisture in the air, compressing it all together, creating small needles of Water Chakra, like Senbon. I then direct these at the ground around my feet, which launch with great speed and accuracy. I replicate this Jutsu by simply gathering Water style Chakra in my hand, gathering the moisture, then launching them with a flick of my wrist, much like the Chidori Senbon technique. Again, the Jutsu has great speed and accuracy thanks to it's small sized projectiles and lack of hand seals.

This one's cool I guess. I can easily see myself trying to use this to skewer a target in close quarters combat, using it to attack the target from above and catch them unaware. There isn't much else to say about this technique, it's a fast, small projectile technique, perfect for combination attacks with the Hidden Mist Jutsu.​




I dunno if this is cheating, but I only really like 2 C-Rank Water technique's enough to go into real detail about them. They are the Starch Syrup Capture Field and the Rain Tiger at Will technique. The former is excellent cause you can use it to trap your target, perfect for setting up larger scale moves or even just generally catching a target. A nd the former because of it's Sensory factor. There aren't many other technique's, if any, that provide the same bonus as the Rain Tiger at Will technique, so that alone is worth note and praise. All the other techniques have their own various usages, but only those 2 really stand out enough for me. If I had to pick another technique, it would probably be the Black Clouds technique, simply for the addition of flammable oils to canon Water usage. Those 3 technique's are, in my opinion, the best of C-Ranks, cause they all provide something different from various shapes and sizes that the rest of the C-Rank list provides.

Ninjas with a primary water specialty will be able to produce up to an S-Rank technique; ninjas with a secondary water specialty will be able to produce up to an A-Rank technique; normal water masters will produce the basic B-Rank technique. Tobirama was able to use this technique with a single hand seal showing testiment to his skill in water ninjutsu.

I start by performing the Boar → Dog → Ram seals, then gather some Chakra in my hand. I change the nature of this Chakra to Water, before giving it form, then use Shape Manipulation to rotate the Water in a clockwise direction, causing the Water to mould itself into a vortex. Once I have the technique's initial steps out of the way, I release this Chakra from my palm with a large amount of force, while continuously adding more Water Chakra to the vortex, making it slowly enlarge and expand. Once the vortex reaches a safe distance, it rapidly expands, creating a large wall which would cause a great deal of physical damage through sheer force, or act as a large defensive wall to block most kinds of incoming attacks.

I had to double check with the Wiki, but this is basically the Jutsu Yamato performed with Naruto's Wind Style Rasengan to create the Hurricane Vortex Jutsu, which negated the Fire and Wind combo from Kakuzu. All I could really remember about this technique is the fact that Yamato just created it from his palm, then launched it in conjunction with Naruto's Jutsu. Anyway, it's a basic technique with standard usages and no real special properties, but the fact that it doesn't require a Water Source makes up for it's generic nature, especially when you consider the scale of the attack, even before merging with the Rasengan.​

I start by performing the infinity and a half hand seals required to perform this technique, then collapse from old age then gather Chakra throughout my body. I then stream this Chakra into the nearby body of Water, where I use the Chakra to manipulate the existing source of Water. By rotating the water around, almost like a drill, the Water takes the form of an Eastern Dragon, long and slender. I then proceed to direct the Water Dragon at the surroundings, causing a large amount of damage to the terrain, before releasing the Jutsu, and the dragon's form collapses and douses the surroundings.

It's cool that this technique has multiple "tiers" depending on your level of dedication to the Element it's made from, but that's just far too many seals for anyone without a Water speciality to attempt. By the time you've knocked off half the seals, your opponent will have either fallen asleep, or you've already been decapitated by a far less "needy" technique. I think it's a nice technique overall, and it's certainly iconic of the Water Element and it's users, but I don't think I'll be making a bio with a Water speciality simply for this technique. All in all, I love the concept/ mechanic behind the technique, but those seals, lordt...​

I start by gathering Chakra throughout my body, before changing it's Nature to Water and channelling it into my hand. I then use Shape Manipulation to form this Chakra into a large orb above my head, from which I can create multiple sharp tentacle-esque whips, all of which can extend to a great length, and can even change direction mid-performance. After I display the Jutsu, I stop channelling Chakra, and the Jutsu dissipates.

First Shippuden Movie, I liked the way the Shinobi who used this technique basically played a game of hide and seek for keeps with Naruto and his clones. The range, general number of whips and sheer control and directional capabilities of these whips are impressive to say the least.​

Next I perform the Tiger Seal and gather Chakra in my foot, which I change to Water Style through Nature Manipulation. Once I have the Chakra gathered, I shape the Chakra into a thin, long jet of Water with a "kick" motion, releasing a powerful stream of Water that carves through the ground like a warm knife through butter. I perform it several more times, in rapid succession, tearing through the ground in several directions, before I stop kneading the Chakra required, and wait for the next technique.

Same Shinobi, just as deadly technique, this time it's emphasis on general killing power and speed, rather than strength in numbers. The way that jet of Water tore through solid rock in the movie was cool, especially cause it had Naruto on the run, even trying to get to higher ground. I can easily see myself using this to attempt to quickly dispatch my foes, with just one seal, and a quick leg movement.​

(Suiton: Ja No Kuchi) - Water Release: Water Snakes Mouth

Fairly straight forward release a large amount of wwater from your mouth, or from your hand in the form of a snake with a jaw.

A wave from your mouth that lifts you up into the air, also gives you the option to ride it if you so please.

I start by performing the Monkey → Rat → Tiger → Dragon → Horse and Dragon seals, while gathering a large quantity of Chakra in my mouth, which I change to Water Style via Nature manipulation. Once I have the Chakra gathered, I release a constant stream from my mouth, which I then control using Shape Manipulation, twisting and rotating the stream so that it mimics the appearance of the iconic Water Dragon Jutsu. I then display the Juitsu's capabilities, having the "serpent" composed of a swirling vortex of Water move around the terrain, soaking the ground, while displaying it's flexibility and speed. Once I have done so for a few moments, I have the serpent charge the ground, where upon I release my control of the Jutsu and watch as the Jutsu falls apart, turning into a stream of water of considerable size. Hopefully satisfied with the result, I move on to the next technique...

Was lost for a moment about this one, then I remembered that it was called "Mouth of the Serpent" in the Sora Filler dub. Besides acting like the Water Dragon Jutsu, albeit slightly weaker and less iconic, it has the ability to create a body of Water, since the Jutsu turns into a stream of flowing Water when it's purpose is served. Add that to the fact it can go into Long Range,m and it appears to be a very nice Jutsu.​

Next I gather Chakra in my feet and change it to Water Release Chakra. I then create a small body of Water with this Chakra, and manipulate it a short distance from myself, where I then manipulate it further to form a spherical prison of Water. With little else to display, I release the Jutsu and move on.

Though there isn't much to the actual execution of this Jutsu, there certainly are a couple of benefits to using this over the C-Ranked Water Prison Jutsu. For one, it's stronger. Not only does the prison being more durable mean the target has to do more to get out, it also means you have more options to attack the opponent with, without risking breaking the target out yourself. Add to that the fact that this Prison technique goes further than the required direct contact with the target in the C-Rank Water Prison, and you have to wonder why anyone may use the C-Rank Water Prison at all... Obviously the C-Rank one still has it's uses, it's just this one's stronger and more versatile, so it's, you know, better.​

Next I perform the Dragon → Tiger and Rabbit seals, gathering a large quantity of Chakra in my mouth again. Same as with the first technique, I then change the Nature of this Chakra to Water Release using Nature Manipulation, however this time I leap into the air and release a powerful and steady jet of Water from my mouth. After a few moments of firing this constant stream of Water from my mouth, I run out of Chakra, and land back on the ground.

I like the hidden use of this seemingly basic technique. The way Kurotsuchi used it to spread the range of her Quicklime Congealing Jutsu, while also allowing it to act like cement at the same time, was really cool, and a use I'll be keeping in mind for the future. Besides that, I'll probably just use this to counter appropriate offensive Fire Jutsu and the like.​

Next I gather Chakra in my hands and slam them into the ground. This causes something akin to the Summoning technique to happen, as a massive amount of Water seemingly appears from nowhere several feet above the ground a short distance away, which then proceeds to fall to the ground and causes a noticeable effect on the terrain from the impact. The Water continues to pour until I remove my hands from the ground, instantly cutting the flow of Chakra to the technique.

I love this technique, not only because it can be used to sneakily douse targets at longer ranges than normal, but also because the Water doesn't actually originate from the user. The problem with using Water style most of the time is that the opponent can always usually electrocute you as you are streaming the technique to them, resulting in severe backlash, but not with this technique. As it is, by the looks of it, more or less a S/T technique that summons a body of Water from wherever, and allows you to place it over almost anywhere on the field, it means you can utilize this Water for more purposes than just offensive, without fear of electrocution.​

Next I jump into the nearby body of Water and proceed to gather Water Style Chakra throughout my entire body. I then release this Chakra from every point on my body, where I then use this Chakra in a similar manner to the Camouflage technique in basic Ninjutsu. Using a coating of Water Style Chakra around my body, I easily "blend into" the environment, making it extremely difficult for anyone else to see me without a Doujutsu, or detect me without a form of Sensory.

Really can't say anything about this technique. It's almost kind of pointless on NB, cause not many battles take place under water, unless maybe you're a Gyojin or something along those lines.​

Finally I perform the Snake seal and, same as before, gather Chakra in my mouth, which I change to Water Release Chakra. I then release the Chakra in the form of a massive stream of Water that rapidly changes the appearance of the environment, while I "surf" a wave of Water that travels at a fast speed back and forward. After a short while, the Water all drains away, and I prepare myself for the next batch.

The sheer, utter scale of this technique, and the speed at which you can ride the Wave is very impressive, especially the part about causing rapid terraformation, even in a barren wasteland. It's also iconic, I guess, from when Team Guy fought Kisame, but besides that, there isn't much to this one. The scale of this technique though, gosh.​

Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

Merely a large amount of rain that turns into a wave of water that can be used for many different things, but down side is that you have to keep a sustained handseal if you use the water to create a vortex, but it does drain chakra which is neat.

I start by performing the Dog Seal, and gathering Chakra throughout my entire body. Then I change the nature of the Chakra to Water and channel the Water Style Chakra into the sky above, similar to how the Rain Tiger At Will technique is initiated. Then using Shape Manipulation, I have the Water Chakra take the form of storm clouds, which eventually cause a downpour of Water in the form of Rain. As the Rain falls, I gather it into a wave of Water that sweeps through the surrounding area. At the same time, I create a clone, for the purpose of experiencing the Chakra draining ability of the technique. Ad the clone is swept up and trapped within the water, the Chakra that constitutes him is slowly drained away, until the Clone Jutsu is undone. The Chakra draining ability seemed to be rather quick too, draining large amounts of Chakra from the target in a small window. With that done, I quit channeling for the technique, and move on to the next Jutsu.

The Chakra draining ability, and the fact there's another Rain-esque technique in the Cannon Water list is pretty sweet, especially because it has a radically different ability than the Rain Tiger At Will technique, which is more Supplementary, what with the added Sensory bonus, however this technique is more offensive, with a Chakra draining/ sapping ability to boot. Pretty sweet technique.​

Next I pull out my ninjato and leap into the air. As I do, I load the blade with Water Style Chakra, coating it in a small amount of Water. As I descend, I prepare to drive my sword into the ground, placing my off-hand on the back of the weapons hilt, and as I land, I drive the blade into the ground, while simultaneously releasing the Chakra channelled into the blade, causing a rippling wave to burst forth from the ground in an omnidirectional blast. Should there be anyone or anything near, they would be pushed away with a good deal of force.

Nothing to say about this Jutsu. It's a simple enough technique to understand and perform. The Range could put you in danger though, since you have to be close enough to perform it, while also being required to perform it from the air, which puts the user at a great disadvantage from quick, fast Jutsu or attacks.​

Next I gather more Chakra in my hands, and change it's Nature to Water. Then I gather the Chakra in my palms, and shoot a spiralling torrent from them, causing a great amount of force in a short amount of time.

Despite the Range being Short, this technique has no Seals, which could make it invaluable in CQC fights because of the force it produces, and the generally short time required to perform it. And I know from personal experience just how much of a pain in the ass that technique is in-game. I've been hit by it enough times. #OPTracking​

I gather more Water Chakra in my hands and shape it into an orb. I then split the orb into several spiralling streams that attack the area in front of me in varying ways. Once this is done, I release the Jutsu and move on.

A lot of creative freedom with this one because it's so ambiguous, but I know it's one of Mei's combo's from the game, so I know how it generally looks. The range, the speed at which it's able to be performed, and the sheer vagueness of the Jutsu itself makes it a decent Jutsu.​

Finally I gather Water Style Chakra in my hands, pooling it around my palms. Then I start swinging my hands around, releasing the Water Chakra in the form of incredibly sharp arcs of Water that slice the surrounding terrain like a hot knife through butter. After displaying the sharp nature of the technique, , releasing an omnidirectional arc of Water that carves through the area.

Again, good speed, decent range, but it also has the added benefit of being extremely sharp, and it also follows the user's hand movements, so there's potential for Taijutsu collaborations. Generally speaking it's another solid technique, with some nice usages.​




I like this technique because of the additional benefitsit has over the C-Ranked version. The additional Range, the requirement of maintaining contact with the prison being removed, and the increased fortitude of the prison itself, all contribute to making this technique a far-cry better than the C-Rank Water Prison. That and the fact it makes it's own Water source, which you can use to perform other Water Jutsu, is all quite fun.

This one was also fun to discover. Creating Water almost anywhere you want, that is not directly connected to you, which could lead to backlash/ backfire is also very useful. Only gripe I have with it, now that I've had a second look, is the fact it's an offensive Jutsu, but doesn't actually do damage. But I'm just nitpicking...

Finally, there's two aspects of this technique that I like. The first is the knowledge that the Cannon Water list does employ a few technique's which could be considered "Rain", and the second is that there's a cannon Water technique with the ability to drain/ absorb Chakra from the target. There's definitely room for improvement and development in that field, if it's allowed that is.

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, the user will form a gigantic vortex of water in the form of a ring in front of him. It will then shoot a gigantic torrent of water that extends water over a large scale, surges upon impact and rises up to several dozen meters high only to collapse down, forming massive waves all around as it does. The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.
Note: Can be used with a water source or by using one's own chakra to exhale the technique without the need for a water source nearby.

I start by performing the Shadow Clone Jutsu, creating a double to take care of the Rasengan. As he channels Chakra into his hand, then changes the nature of it to Wind and moulds it into a sphere with a great deal of rotation with his other hand, I gather Water Style Chakra in my hand and shape it into a rotating mass of water. Once we are ready, my clone hurls the Wind Style: Rasengan, while I swing my arm in an arc, releasing the Destruction Torrent at the same time. They both travel a short distance, before colliding and combining to create a vortex of Water and Wind.

This one's nice cause it works on just about any Fire/ Wind combo, providing the end result isn't a Forbidden Rank Jutsu. The execution makes sense, requiring a clone or a partner, since no one can use two Elements simultaneously (Old NB Y/Y obviously not included). The range and general area of effect is nice, since this technique was shown countering Kakuzu's massive Fire and Wind combo, which decimated an entire area of the Forest of Dead Tree's. Generally speaking it's a very nice technique.​

Next I perform the required seals, Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit and Bird. (What is it with Water Release and strings of hand seals that are longer than the Cannon Jutsu list? xD) I then gather Water Style Chakra and use it to manipulate the nearby body of Water we've been using for the majority of this training session. Accumulating and shaping the the Water into a ring around myself, before releasing it directly in front of myself. The waves released by the technique barrage the area, completely decimating the environment with sheer force of volume. As the Water starts to drain away, I look at my handiwork and simply smile.

The technique Kakashi used to finish off Zabuza the first time around, even though those Seals are a pain in the ass, the technique is described as a very powerful technique, almost like a force of nature. The sheer scale of this Jutsu, combined with the Range this technique can reach make this one deadly technique, if you can finish weaving the seals before your opponent dies of old age.​

While there was still enough Water to perform the next technique, I gather Water Style Chakra and channel it into the surrounding Water. I use the Chakra to manipulate the existing source of water, shaping it into multiple sharks that leap into the air. Should a target be caught by such an onslaught, they would receive considerable damage, certainly akin to the damage one would get from blunt force strikes, like with Strong Fist Taijutsu. Once the sharks reach the pinnacle of their leaps, they fall to the ground and disappear.

Besides the potential for abuse that the description has, specifically the breaking bones part, though the end can also be potentially abused, there isn't much to say about this technique. Though I do like how it's general creation can be left to creative thought. Your only requirement is for your target to be standing on a water source, and everything else, including how the sharks attack, and how you affect your opponents position, is left to you.​

Again I gather Water Chakra and draw on the Water from the surroundings, this time accumulating it in one area, for one massive wave. As I use my Chakra to manipulate the Water, then send it forward in the form of a large wave, I notice as the entirety of Short - Mid Range is completely engulfed before the wave even starts to noticeably "move on", indicating that it's dangerous to be within 5 - 10m of this technique when used.

I dunno if this is a technique used by Suigestu when Taka fought Killer Bee (And Suigetsu used the Water from the environment to attack Bee), or when Bee fought Kisame, but either way, it's a bit basic, but nice. The Range is only listed as Long, so one assumes that you probably shouldn't use this if you have allies or clones in the general area ahead of you, but this can also work in your advantage, as the sheer size of the wave completely engulfs the area ahead of you potentially drowning any unsuspecting victims.​

Next I perform the seals Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake and Tiger, gathering Water Style Chakra within my mouth. I then exhale this Chakra out with my breath, and use Shape Manipulation to create a powerful blast of Water that creates a semi-circular wall in front of me. The Water that forms the Wall has a very powerful updraft that would knock people back, and defend from most forms of Jutsu.

I like this one, not only can it defend against almost any kind of attack, it requires a small number of seals, and doesn't obstruct the user's line of sight, meaning things like sneak attacks are less likely to go unnoticed. It's the technique Darui used against Sasuke at the Kage Summit, and was seen clearly pushing him back from his assault, while simultaneously soaking him and making him more susceptible to Darui's Lightning Release Jutsu. But anyway, back to the point, it looks like a very capable defensive technique, and one I'll keep in mind in the future.​

Next I create a clone, and have him stand on the nearby body of Water. I then gather Water Style Chakra within my hand, then swing it in an arc at the clone. Using the Water beneath the clone's to knock him into the air, by having the Water force him up, I then leap into the air, and again I gather Water Style Chakra in my hand, this time creating a swirling vortex from my hand, which I swing at my clone. The vortex grows exponentially in size, drilling my clone back into the ground below, followed by a large explosive force from the vortex.

Took me a good bit to find some footage of this technique, but from what I can tell, it looks decent. I mean, your target must be standing on a (large?) source of Water, and you have to be within short range of the target to begin with, which can be tricky, but otherwise, it's an okay technique.​

Next I gather more Water Style Chakra, and channel it into the nearby Water. I then use this Chakra to manipulate the existing Water, drawing it to myself, where I then add a rotation change in Chakra form, spinning the Water around myself, creating a small, powerful, localized vortex of Water. After a few moments getting used to the technique, I stop channelling Chakra for the technique, and move on to the next one.

I vaguely remember this one from the Lost Chapter, but I can't really remember how it was used. Anyway, that part about knocking the target unconscious, should the technique hit that is, is pretty vague and can be abused like the Flash Grinding Destruction technique. I like the look of it though, since it's a purely defensive Jutsu and would work perfectly for countering Taijutsu, especially the kind you can't keep up with or maybe need to defend from multiple angle's, like with the Uzumaki Barrage.​

I perform the Ram seal, and gather a tremendous amount of Chakra in my mouth, which I change to Water Style Chakra. I then spew this Chakra out in the form of solid Water, creating a massive Water source almost from nowhere. As the Water spreads out, drowning the surrounding area, I add a change in the Chakra's Shape, forming it into a massive Water Prison Jutsu, the scale of which would pass for a small continent.

For Shinobi who can thrive in such conditions, like the Hozuki or the Gyojin, this technique is practically a godsend. Not only are they completely surrounded by their Main Element, which they can use more effectively than others (especially if they have the Shark Contract), they are able to breathe and move freely in such conditions, while others may not be so lucky. Again, like a few other A-Rank Water Jutsu, the sheer scale and size that this technique has been shown to produce is simply staggering, and like I mentioned before, very beneficial to Biographies who benefit from large Water sources, and can survive within their conditions.​

Finally I perform the Dog → Horse → Monkey and Ram seals, gathering Chakra in my feet, before channelling it into the nearby Water source. I use Shape Manipulation to give the Water form, and continuous motion, so that it can attack the surrounding in varying ways, either with it's powerful paws/ claws or blasting anyone or anything with a powerful stream of Water produced from it's mouth. After a few moments of controlling the beasts movements, I undo the Jutsu, and prepare for the final stretch.

The technique Kakashi used in the 3rd Naruto Movie, he used it on a fountain of yellow Water (totally not piss) to engage the antagonists foot soldiers while Naruto and the rest of the Team went on to save the day. I assume that since it remains active for 3 turns, yet there isn't a Chakra cost per turn to pay for keeping it active, you can perform other Jutsu while this one is active. If you can't that's fine too, considering how powerful this technique is shown to be. But yeah, this one's pretty powerful, and one I'll keep in mind cause it's a wolf cause it's iconic nature and general abilities almost make it look like a Water Style Susano'o. :rolleyes:

(Suiton: Suiryū Kōbaku ) - Water Release: Water Dragon Biting Explosion

Description: The user will clap his hands and slam them on the ground, streaming an incredibly rapid stream of water through it, creating a large pool of water beneath the opponent to form, that gushes upwards in a burst, lifting the opponent high into the air. The user does the Bird → Dog → Snake → Rat hand seals after his opponent is mid air, using the water pool to shoot up to 8 small water bullets, designed to further raise the opponent into the air, disorient him and damage him. The water bullets gather above the opponent after hitting and passing through his position and form into a water dragon which then attacks the target, grabbing it in its jaws and forcefully bringing it crashing into the ground. The dragon comes down from above the target, bites the target and coils down, towards the ground, crushing the target between the ground and the now incredible mass of falling water. Tobirama Senju does this technique with his own specific hand seals, similar to how he does some other water techniques. Despite long and seemingly complex, the technique is quite fast to perform and trigger.

This technique has a lot of steps, but you don't even have to do all of them if you so pick, I won't go over the steps as they are explained quite well above.

I start by clasping my hands together, gathering Chakra within them, which I change to Water Style, before slamming my palms into the ground. Using the gathered Chakra, I create a powerful stream of Water which travels a short distance before releasing an explosion of force, strong enough to lift almost anyone within it's range into the air. I then perform the Bird → Dog → Snake and Rat seals while gathering yet more Chakra in my hands, which I then channel into the water. Using this Chakra I create several "bullets" of Water, that would cut and smash into my target on their ascension, disorientating them, as well as keeping them suspended in the air for the final step. The bullets of Water that would have damaged and suspended the target in the air gather in the air above the target, creating a water source, of sorts, which then is formed into the shape of a dragon. This dragon then drives itself into the target, slamming them into the ground with a tremendous amount of force, with the large volume of water from the dragon crashing down on top of them, causing even greater damage. All of this damage would, at the very least, leave the target with small cuts, as well as several broken bones, if not flat out killing them from the sheer impact of the technique itself. (I should know. My first fight in the NW ended with me dying to this. :|)

Tobirama's Ultimate from the Storm series, it's friggin beautiful in the games. The fact it's sequential in nature means you don't have to finish the technique in it's entirety, so if the opponent produces some form of counter, you can still defend yourself by not continuing the Jutsu, but if you can manage to complete it, as I mentioned before, it's very deadly. The only thing that's really unclear about this technique is how it's range is "Long". I play the games often enough, the range the "trigger" for the Jutsu (The stream) doesn't go any further than "Medium" by RP standards, and the pool the blasts the target into the air is about 10m in diameter, if that, so again, that's a Medium AoE for that part of the technique. The final part, the Dragon, kind of abuses the cinematic camera, and so it appears like it travels a great distance, but it really doesn't. You could probably argue how the Dragon can reach Long Ranges in the area around itself, but in the Ultimate Jutsu cinematic, it's only ever shown going one direction. Down. So while this Jutsu is really powerful, it's just confusing. <___>​

Next I perform the Tiger Seal and gather Chakra in my stomach. I change the nature of this Chakra to Water, then release it in the form of a powerful stream of Water from my mouth. I direct this at the nearby tree's and environment, carving through wood and rock like warm butter. By changing the direction swiftly, I am able to carve a considerably larger area at roughly the same time. Once I have put every lumberjack in the region out of business, I stop performing the technique, and move on.

Simple, but powerful. One seal for a cutting jet that reaches Long Range with the speed and power shown by Tobirama when he cut through the Shinju's roots as quickly as he did? Very powerful and very useful. That's all I can really say, since there isn't a whole lot to this Jutsu.​

Next I simply inhale a large quantity of air, and like with the Uchiha Clan's specialty, the Fireball Jutsu, release a large quantity of Chakra in the form of a large and powerful quantity of Water. Spewing forth a massive quantity of Water, I quickly and effortlessly flood the area surrounding us, with more than enough Water to provide more options in Water Release Jutsu.

There isn't a lot to say about this one. It's just a larger stream of Water that can provide a Water source if required. Other than that, the basic applications apply, like dousing the target, or combating larger Fire Style Jutsu thanks to it's higher Rank. Very basic, but still useful.​

Finally I gather Chakra within my stomach, then change it's Nature to Water. I then release this in the form of a stream of water that expands outwards, creating a massive arc of Water that acts as a large scale wall of Water, defending the user from even the largest of attacks directed at the user.

Massive scale defensive Water blast that can defend the user from incoming attacks up to Mid Range, meaning it can be used to pre-emptively defend from incoming attacks, if you have the means to discern what's coming at you that is. I had to go watch Episode 333 just to make sure how the technique was performed, and seeing Mei use it to defend from an attack that nearly burned all of the Alliance Shinobi present in Episode 322 really puts into perspective how powerful this Jutsu is, both in scale, and general usability. A very good go-to defensive Jutsu.​
