As you're sitting at the training ground, you calmly speak to yourself without knowing your words do not just flow with the wind but a sensei hears your wishes. You hear a whisper..
Possible motives..
All of a sudden, water being to whirl around you moving at high speeds. You seem shocked, confused. The water gentle comes to a complete stop and gentle falls upon the ground when you now see yourself at the beach. Your sensei standing in front of you.
Welcome, kid. This is where your water training with be done. Water is a very delicate element, possibly the hardest of all the elements to master and my personal favorite element. Water is life, it heals, destroys, rebirths new life, saves, and is at times unforgiving. Before we delve too much into your training I have a few things I need answered.
What is water? Itself and the chakra element? Be descriptive, poetic even.
Yet as quickly as this mysterious water had appeared, it dissipated, leaving me slightly dazed and confused as to what exactly just happened. One moment I'm surrounded by the serenity and comfort that the training field offered, with it's lush trees, verdant fields and flowing river and the next all I can feel is the sudden urge to pull out lotion as I burn easily... Yet the calming, relaxing sounds of the waves soothe me and now I know, this is when my training starts and this is where it will take place.
I focus on my sensei, the sun burning it's likeness into my eyes while doing so, all I hear is my sensei calling me kid...
"I'm 20... I may not be the most manly student you have, but I'm certainly not a kid..."
It's at this moment I expect a fist or boot to appear from nowhere and knock some sense into me for daring to question my Sensei's judgement. I listen as he gives me a personal summary of Water, of how it can be a benevolent presence, used for healing and bringing life, or a destructive force, capable of many unique and diverse horrors. He then asks me to give a summary of Water, both the Elemental Nature that Shinobi use, Suiton, and the Natural Element present in almost every living thing and covers most of the world as we know it. Three points are asked of me...
"I can try and be poetic. I may suck but I'll certainly give it a go..."

What is Water: Water is life... I couldn't put it any better. Water is in every living being, without it we are nothing. It lives in oceans, in lakes, in puddles. Water can be gentle, in ponds and streams where it flows, seemingly forever, but it can also be tough as storms and tears can show. Without water the world would be barren, void of life
Water Release is the most diverse and unique type of Nature Release, as it is only limited by your imagination. It can be used to wash away an enemy with graceful force and sufficient pressure, but it also has a more caring side, shown when it can be used to assist other techniques like Lightning or Wind, making them stronger and larger, but when used with Earth it can produce life itself in the form of trees.
In summary, Water can be both Beautiful and Benevolent or Ruthless and Ravaging. It's diversity is only limited by the user, it's power is drawn from inspiration and it's not for the faint of heart.
I take a moment to rest my weary head, and gather my thoughts for the next point.
"Poetic enough?"
It's Strength's and Weaknesses: Water is strong against fire, as it chokes the flame and cools it down, but if the Fire technique is strong enough, it creates a shroud of steam that envelopes everything in it's misty embrace.

The damage that water deals comes from the sudden force of the impact that water creates and in the case that it hits a human, it causes severe internal damage.
Water is weak to Earth as it's dense structure renders the force of Water Techniques ineffective. Earth Release can be combined with Water to create Wood Release, a unique Nature Release only displayed by Hashirama Senju and those with his DNA.
Water shares a special relationship with Lightning Release, as Water easily conducts electricity allowing the technique to be dispersed with little effort made. Both Water and Lightning make Storm Release, an electrical based attack that flows like water and can be controlled to a great degree.
Water can be used in conjunction with Wind to increase the force of the attack, as well as increasing the intensity over a larger area, allowing for the technique to break through even the most stalwart defenses with ease. Water and Wind when used in conjunction with the Yuki bloodline creates Ice Release, a rare and very impressive form of manipulation, allowing the user to create ice, seemingly from the air itself.
"Two down..."
Notable Users of Suiton:Kisame of the Akatsuki could produce large quantities of water from his body itself, changing the battlefield dramatically, and giving him the edge. His particular style of fighting involves whittling the enemy's chakra down, like a hunter stalking it's prey.
Tobirama Senju could create water from nowhere and with extreme control, becoming one of the founding forces of the Hidden Leaf village in the process. His Water Style: Explosive Bite of Water Dragon stands out, to me, as his best and most notable technique as it grinds away at the opponent from below, then crushes them from above, a very dangerous and beautiful technique.
Utakata Jinchuriki of the 6 Tails, Saiken, created specific Bubble Jutsu used for defensive purposes when he was on the run, but adapted them into a unique fighting style, where the slightest contact with the bubbles heralds a swift end, as the bubbles have been charges with chakra that causes severe impact and backlash.
Hozuki Clan members have a special technique that allows them to convert every cell in their body to water, allowing them to survive any physical, non elemental attack, but leaves them extremely vulnerable to Raiton Techniques as they can pass through their bodies with minimal effort, this leaves the Hozuki paralyzed and unable to break free.
"Is that sufficient? I'm not an expert in the history of Suiton, being an Uchiha I prefer Fire, but I want to learn as much as possible.

For you may prefer water but there are those Uchiha whom are more in tune to Water. Interesting, no? Either way excellent answer. I expect great things from you in this training.
Your sensei turns around and begins to walk along the shoreline, gestures you to walk along side her..
Now, I noticed that you mentioned that this is your 3rd element? Perhaps 4th? So you're already used to manipulation on chakra, yes? It matters not, I'm a new teacher for you so I must see it first hand. Just a quick lesson - manipulation is simple, it's pretty much the ability or control to manage to make use of elemental chakra. Water is flow, water is calm, water is relentless. By the end of this training you'll be able to control all those emotions of the water in a variety of techniques for use.
Sensei suddenly stops and faces the dense ocean, she takes a stand with her left hand in front of her horizontal with palm facing down with the right hand palm open vertical up. Both bend at the elbows. She then begins to sway back and forth with her arms in motion, you notice in the oceans that the water begins to wave back and forth.
See, student. Manipulate an already water source is also much needed as well as creating it based on your chakra. Do as I do.

As we walk parallel to the water and you point out that I noted my previous trainings I can't help but imagine how this training will fare to my others.
Fire was as natural to me as breathing... But that is expected as my blood contains the aptitude for this Nature Release.
Lightning is... Somewhat different. It requires you to mimic the basic properties of lightning. Focused and direct, yet calm and unwavering.
Basic Ninjutsu training builds on your ability to control basic chakra, and yet it rewards you with diverse arsenal of jutsu.
Sharingan training is... Harrowing... That's all that needs to be said.
But Water... I'm not entirely sure how to control this element. You say it is calm yet relentless... I have little to go on, but it's certainly a start. As you start to control the waves by making a fluid, flowing motion I can't help but notice how naturally you are able to control it. I do as instructed and take a similar stance, closing my eyes and trying to feel the flowing movements of the ocean.
"Like this Sensei?"
To my dismay I don't get the hang of this control right away. I feel somewhat frustrated, and this only adds to my problem of controlling the waves. I have to stop and take moment to clear my head. Sitting on the warm sand I simply listen to the waves as they flow onto the beach. After a few moments I stand up again and get back into the stance, ready to try again. This time my mind is clear, focused and willing to learn. I start to feel the water respond to my movements, but not to a great extent, however I am content as I feel as if I have made progress, no matter how little.
"Is this sufficient Sensei? Or should I continue and try to gain more control over the source of water?"
You're getting it. Fluid movements, flow your chakra like a river, calmly.
After about an hour of controlling the waves, your waves finally mimic mind perfectly. You show great pleasure on your face. Simple, yet thrusting movements of the water makes a soothing sound as it splashes against the rocks and shoreline.
See? You got the hang of it.
Your sensei stops and the waves come down, you also do the same.
I consider that the easy way of manipulation of water, now you must create it from within. Watch me carefully, also stand behind me. Water is my affinity and I was taught under the Water Sage.
Daenerys preforms one handseal and takes a deep breathe then release in the opposite direction of you massive amount of water that take the form of a small tidal wave. Wide, high, destructive as it scorners the beach side takes down all in its way.
I don't expect the same result from you quite yet so let's go easy. Simple create water within your stomach by use of water chakra manipulation. Release it out your mouth - enough to fill up a barrel.

You are happy with my progress so we stop manipulating the waves. You turn to face away from me, as you do you mention someone called "The Water Sage". I can help but ask,
"Really? Who is the Water Sage, I believe I've heard the name before, but never had the pleasure of knowing who it is."
I watch as you prepare for your jutsu and am impressed how little preparation you need for such a large jutsu, but then again this is probably the lowest rank of jutsu you can perform the rest of your arsenal would undoubtedly be larger and more deadly than anything I could possibly imagine. You then turn to me and ask me to... Wait...
"Enough to fill a barrel? That's... Going to be a bit tougher than it sounds. I guess I'd better get started then."
I close my eyes once again and start to gather chakra in my stomach, similar to my Fire Release training. However, instead of heating the chakra by focusing on it until it becomes intense, I allow my mind to replicate the feelings from the manipulation of the waves. I am calm and collected, but fierce and relentless. I feel the chakra building up in my stomach and I let this continue until the pressure makes me feel ill. I try and release this as a ball of water, but all that comes out is a slight stream of water...
"Ugh... That was disgusting..."
I take a moment to ready myself again. This time it should go a bit better. Once again I clear my head, becoming calm as the ocean yet as ferocious as a waterfall. I build chakra up in my stomach again, building on the feelings I felt when controlling the waves and adding them to the mass of chakra I am storing in my stomach. This time however I start to rotate the chakra to try and give it some force, hoping this doesn't backfire immediately.
I allow the chakra to build up once again, and I let it out in a single, quick, concentrated burst. This time a ball of water comes out, but it isn't strong or large. I let out a sigh of relief, hoping that this was enough.
"How was that sensei? I know that first one was a complete failure, but was that last one good enough?"

"Pesky? These eyes are a godsend and I certainly withstood enough to get them... They will help me achieve my goals and are therefore something to be cherished. But I guess we all see things in a different light."
I start by focusing my chakra in my stomach, much like I would for a Fire Jutsu. This time, like the last, I add Water Style Chakra to the gathered chakra. Then I exhale it as a mist, flowing and covering the area. It's light and cool to the touch, so cool that it's almost bone chilling. This mist is thick and mixed in with my own chakra, and would therefore most likely block my Sharingan or another users Sharingan/ Rinnegan, but since I haven't completed my Sharingan training I have no way of knowing. However, since the Byakugan see's more than the flow of chakra, it can penetrate the mist and allow the ninja wielding the Byakugan to fight without being affected. I try and sense my Sensei's location, but to no avail, I just have no clue how this jutsu works. It's at this point I use my chakra to make the mist dissipate, slowly fading like a morning's mist, but leaving no trace of of it's existence. It now only lives on as an afterthought in my mind. And as that image hangs on my subconscious I have a few questioned that I feel I should ask...
"Sensei, I have a few questions about this jutsu...
How is the user able to keep up with the enemies movement? Is it to do with the conflicting chakra in the targets area, or do you have to pay attention to the targets location and use slight or subtle giveaways like breathing and small movements?
Since it would be my chakra in the mist am I and my Sharingan unaffected by it? I'm not sure...
Since the mist covers a wide area and is technically a Water jutsu, can I use a Lightning Jutsu to create a large scale Lightning attack, or is this impossible because the Water particles are far too small to carry an electrical charge?
Would using a large scale Wind jutsu to blow the mist away or a large Fire Jutsu cause cause the Mist to disappear?"
I think that's the extent of my curiosity in this jutsu... If I haven't given enough detail, please say and I'll do it again.
Well, student. Luckily for you I know the answer to all your questions!
Too keep up with the enemy it's not conflicting chakra but its sound. Generally this is best used with silent killing because those whom are trained in Kiri have used this so many times that they're training to hear every footstep or even the target breathing. You'd learn this in ninjutsu training.
You would blind yourself. Dont use if Sharingan is active.
The mist would be unable to hold an electrical current.
Wind jutsu would be able too and fire would but not to the effect of sweeping it away via wind.

Shayde watches as his Sensei summons forth a small quantity of water from her own chakra, this is then molded into a very sharp, very rugged looking sword. (I'm assuming this is the sword from the Lost Story: Mission to the Waterfall Village, isn't it?) This blade looks like it could do severe damage to the human body very easily.

I do as instructed. Building Chakra up in my hand. This is where my Lightning Training comes in handy, because the techniques you first learn involve gathering chakra in your hand(s). As I gather the chakra instead of making it vibrate or increase it's speed, I let it pool in my right hand and sit idle. Adding the required Water style chakra to the mix, I "pour" the chakra from my hand and try to shape it in a similar way to yours. It manifests, but it isn't as sharp or as "stylish" as yours. Still, with time, and practice, I could use this to my advantage, using it to perform a quick covert attack if the enemy is distracted or caught off guard.

Can you channel Lightning Chakra down the blade, like you would a normal blade and still get the regular effects? Or would it turn to mush, like Suigetsu did against Darui?
Can this blade be cut if it collides with another blade? And if that blade has Lightning Chakra added to it?
Can this blade withstand a Fire Jutsu, or would it evaporate?
If the enemy uses an Earth Style Sword, would that beat this Jutsu?
Well, unsure. you're holding the water and if you channel lightning through it then you'd have to drop the water chakra since you cant channel them through the same entity. Like through the same arm, get it?
Yea it can, but if a lightning blade then you'd be shocked.

I drop the previously manifested Water sword and start to gather chakra for the next technique. I let the chakra I am gathering in my arm grow peaceful and quiet, then I picture throwing it out of my hand as a ball of Water that travels a few feet, then it expands and rotates, creating a shield to block general ninja tools and attacks. I change the nature of the chakra in my arm to Water, then toss it in front of me. It expands and reveals a thin layer of Water.
"Only one question Sensei, this technique seems straightforward."
Below are 2 images. The first is an game screenshot of the Mizukage using this technique. Is this the correct way to do this technique, or is the second image, Yamato from the "Chikara" filler using the Wood Style: Construction Shield the correct way to use this technique? Or are both methods useable in the RP? The only reason I ask is because the Lightning element has a similar technique, but it is manifested from the users arm and acts like Yamato's shield.

I start by building focusing, building chakra in my body. Gathering it in my arms and hands, changing the nature of the chakra to Water. I release this chakra into the readily available water source that should have been used more often so far, but I digress. I try and focus on building a shape, a shark, a fish... A shrimp? Some form of aquatic life to help me manifest a shape, but it doesn't really work...
"I... Gimme a sec Sensei."
I take off my boots and roll my trousers up, I then walk over to the ocean and stand in the water.
"Much better."
Once again I build up my chakra. I pool it in my arms and change the nature of the Chakra by focusing on the sound of the waves rolling on the water, the salty smell of the air. I release the chakra and will it into the ocean. Focusing on building a shape. The water starts to respond to my chakra, so I take it as a sign that I am doing it right. I keep adding chakra to the Water and focus on changing the shape of the Water, to suit my need, to attack my target. I release one more wave of chakra into the ocean and finally change the shape of the Water to that of a Shark. I manipulate this Shark and have it "swim" to your clone at a fast pace, crashing into it.
Seems like Josh has covered everything, so I will just proceed with the techniques. But first. Would you like to use the new method, or the same old template?

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip

Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.
Perform the three seals, then gather your suiton chakra in your hands then use shape manipulation to create a whip of water. that you can whip around my clone, lighting techs can be channeled though the whip for a combo attack.
The first thing to catch my eye is the fact the jutsu states that Raiton Jutsu can be channeled through it. Now, this is basic Suiton training, so this has nothing to do with channeling different Elements at the same time, like with Y/Y. The technique must then be able to retain it's shape, even when chakra isn't being fed into it, meaning that the user can create the whip, then stop channeling Water Chakra and can perform a Jutsu of a different Nature, but only Lightning Style is able to be transmitted through the whip.
It has decent range for a lower level technique, allowing the user to be out of an immediate danger zone if the opponent were to counter.
One/three disadvantages:
Even though it's a low level Water Technique it requires handseals.
The "Channeling Raiton" part also works for the opponent. They can channel a Raiton technique through the whip back to you, which can lead to some very Dragon Ball-esque power struggles.
Even though it's a Mid Range whip made from manipulated Water, I still don't see this technique doing much damage. Yeah it can constrict enemies, but that's kind of why I have the Snake Contract. xD
How you would use it in battle: The whip allows for Lightning Jutsu to be channeled through it, but that's not all it can do. I can see myself using it in stupid ways, like using it to grab a far away tool and tossing it at my target, kind of like how Shikamaru's Shadow Stitching was used in Team 10's battle against Hidan and Kakuzu went. Of course, simply strangling a target or beating them to death can work too. xD
How you would counter it: It's a tricky one. Ideas coming into my head right now involve forgetting the whip and aiming for the user, if you can break their focus maybe they will drop the Jutsu and use something else. Since it is only manipulated into the shape of a whip, it's still water and it can be overpowered by Earth Techniques breaking right through it. You could also slash it apart with either a sharp Wind or Lightning Jutsu.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
(I'm going to assume we're still at the beach where Coyote magically teleported me for the training. If so, I'll use the water readily available. )
I start by gathering chakra in my right arm. As I do, I focus on the aspects of Suiton such as free flowing movements and the feeling of water washing over me. As I do this, my chakra's nature changes to Water, from there I use Shape Manipulation to control the water in my surroundings. I stretch the Water out to a long, thin "rope" shape. I grab the whip and prepare to attack your clone with it. I swipe the whip and wrap it around your clones lower torso, then I use the whip to pull him towards me at a fast pace, I uppercut the clone and send it into the air where I release the whips hold and wrap it around your clones ankle. Then I pull your clone back down to the ground. Your clone bounces off the ground, and as it does I release the whip again and grab your clone by the wrist with the whip. Then I spin your clone around until I finally let go of the whip. Your clone is sent flying and disappears with a twinkle, like Team Rocket. xD
