User can further manipulate sharp water spikes to impale what ever is inside. Also orbs can be used to stop projectiles. If used on a water surface can be almost unavoidable.

Guess Goro didn't put the effect of forbidden
, however it's design to counter any water attack.
I think Raiden actually won...
Even though it's made to block all water, he throw you a forbbiden water attack, that completly overpowers your Mangetsu.
So your moves are useless, and you get crushed by the sarcophagus.

Exactly. Too much load for your truck. You try to absorb a Forbbiden jutsu with an S rank one. You get crushed by it's power. As simple as that. You can say all you want about the description, but at the of the day what matters is the rank.
