Water Devil Fruit!?

The day that a water devil fruit apears in One Piece is day that I stop reading it.

It would be THE most contradicting thing ever. Devil fruits are already pretty much overpowered. There is only one rule/weakspot. THe user turns into an anchor. Why would you even want to think of taking even that away.

It's like an 8th dragonball
or like kryptonite that makes superman even stronger
or more than 150 pokémon... oh wait

lmaoo i see what your saying.. im not saying there is a water df.. personally i just wouldnt be suprised if one showed up.. thats all im saying.. people knocking it just cuz it would be op or illogical but theres nothing ruling out the possibility..

Oda could just make a water user still sink in the ocean.. lol why not?

Sure they are pirates and all but 95% of battles happen on land, atleast all the serious one's. That's barely a weak spot for you. Sea-stone is the weak spot and water should have the same effect on DF users. I thought people were thinking it's contradicting because being your own weakspot and having control over your/other df users weakspot is kinda hax. Not being an anchor is just a small bonus.

it doesnt have to. if it was written in the manga than that would just be the logic of it. i could name a whole bunch of things in one piece that doesnt make sense but it is what it is..

like that starfish who thought as a baby that he was a human so he learned how to talk.. lol wtf? or when Moria was defeated and the people who didnt have shadows were being burned by the sun but still miracously stayed alive even though their whole upper body was destroyed lol..
