Alright, tell me what you know about water release in the naruto-verse. How is it used, what is it weak against and strong against?

Water is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques. It allows the user to manipulate pre-existing water, or to create their own, by turning their own chakra into water.
Water Release techniques can not only change shape but state as well. Also, the water becomes more solid in the process as well. The water affinity is much more common among shinobi of Kirigakure. The offensive water techniques commonly appear to do damage from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human.

Water is strong against fire because it naturally extinguishes the flames but a strong fire technique can evaporize the water.
It is weak against earth because earth techniques are capable of dissipating the force of water rendering the technique less effective.

I feel the water and start to mold my chakra recreating its liquid form and then trying to give it a more condensed solid shape.*

*I focus and concentrate on the feel of my chakra in the water and its movement. I then manipulate my chakra into becoming fluid, and moving like the water and turning it into water. I then slowly transform my chakra to water and mixing it in with the lake causing some small waves to appear*

Description: The user creates a thick, dense mist that covers the surrounding area.


Send your suiton chakra throughout your body and release it from your body as you mold it into a thick mist that spreads out to mid range. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra given into it. This technique doesn't require handseals.


Advantages

- this is a very useful jutsu to block the sight of sharingan like seen in the manga/anime as well as you and the opponents vision.
- You can use this as a distraction technique
- Can use this to hide yourself so you can go underground and attacking from below


Disadvantages

- You cant see the opponent either even with Sharingan and only Byakugan can see through it.
- Can be blasted away with wind.
- Only covers from short-mid range so you can also make a pillar of earth rise under your feet to shoot you backwards out of the mist into long range if you are in mid range when the mist is formed. You could also use hiding like a mole technique so that not only can the opponent not see you, but you can sense them/their location and surprise attack them.
- Only mist ninjas can see through the mist unless you make the mist thick enough so then they would have to depend on hearing.

*I place my right hand outwards and begin to concentrate my chakra on it. Then water from the lake moves to my right hand and begins to take the shape of rectangular sword and starts to get more dense. I grip it hard and do a few slashes testing it's sharpness.*

*I put my hands together and begin to make the seven handseals, Tiger, Ox, Dragon, Rabbit, Bird, Dragon, Sheep, and place my hands onto the lake surface, and release my water chakra into the lake, and begin to form a shark. I wrap my chakra around it, forming the mouth, fins,tail and focusing on a very detailed form. I then send it upwards and make it jump out of the water, and towards your clone. As it closes in on the clone, I open the sharks mouth devouring your clone*

The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand. However in our rp system you would need to use a jutsu to counter this as it would be against the rules technically by evading/countering a technique with out using a jutsu to do so.

Next, Gather your water chakra into your gut and concentrate it as you perform the "Ram → Tiger" handseals, concentrating using your water chakra to mold the water into a stick adhesive like substance and spit it at my clone to stop him from coming towards you. Then spit it at my clone in a way that makes it so he can't move or breath.

Advantages

Can spit large amounts at your opponent so that it covers their body as well as cutting of air supply.
can be spat at the ground in front of someone as they are coming towards you to trap them.

Disadvantages

Can once again be countered by nagashi if you get trapped or by using doton no jutsu to make a pillar rise underneath your feet to spring you into the air so that you dodge it.
