not officially he was just kinda just the smartest and almost definitely the strongest.

yes and no...but who cares. that was all a set up for something bigger. it had to play out like that.
naruto over took sasuke after the first visit from itachi to the anime. and thats why he left and the storys still going.

that was just sorta a sidenote.
my main point is that sasuke kinda took the leadership position because he was the smartest and the strongest at that time.
They shud change this Manga's name to Sasuke Manga instead of Naruto... the whole story has been revolving arnd him.. frm the beginnening... the story starts with focusing on him and his past... him goin to oro.. naruto n co tryin to stop him.. him killin Itachi.. fight 8-tails.. and now the 5 kage summit.. there have been more chapters dedicated to him then Naruto... I don't understand y kishi calls it naruto manga anymore!! its gettin annoying now

Kakashi was the leader of team 7, but Sasuke was the Leader out of the three genin; when he left it forced Naruto to grow more. :naruto:
You'd still have the first few chapter before they became team 7, then you have the Zabuza arc which wasnt really centered around anything, then you have the arc with Jiriaya's training after the first two parts of the Chunnin exams and the last part of the chunnin exams which was more focused on Naruto's understanding of Gaara, then you have the Tsunade arc, and the Gaara Arc, and the Sai arc, and the Asuma Arc, Naruto RS Training, And the Jiriaya vs pain arc, the Naruto Sage training arc, and the Naruto vs pain arc. :naruto:
Kishi just like to shift with both of them, but if I had to say anything, it would be more about Naruto then it would be about Sasuke. :headband:

I agree the main parts of story revolve around Naruto.. but here is the problemm.. its too much Sasuke related... like
1. Only the 1st chapter was naruto based.. then team 7 was introduced n it was all abt sasuke.. how strong he is n how naruto is tryin to reach on par with him.
2. Whole Zabuza arc.. the first few parts were purely concentrated on Sasuke.. then naru n sasuke training.. finally naru released kyuubi against haku in the end.. m sure u knw all of it.. but it was again a lot of sasuke..
3. Chunin exam.. only the 1st fight with neji included naruto.. rest was all sasuke.. wheres sasuke.. y is he not here.. finally gara vs sasuke... only in the end naruto saved the day by defeatin gaara..
4. Tsuande arc was naruto learning rasengan.. but in the end.. only to fight sasuke n him gettin jealous n leaving konoho.. n the whole sasuke chase.. finally sasuke leavin for oro after gr8 battle
5. Sai arc... it was all abt sasuke.. tryin to find him.. bonds.. sai wanting to knw abt bond b/w naru n sasuke... even though naruto is shown more.. but its all abt sasuke everytime... finally they find him but he is too strong...
6. Asume arc... mostly naruto wants to get stronger FRS training.. why?? so he can become stronger n get sasuke bac.. again they showed naruto more.. but its all abt sasuke??? story is revolvin arnd him...
7. jiraiya n pain arc.. we had more sasuke fights then naruto... sasuke vs deidara n sasuke vs Itachi.. only jiraiaya vs pain n naruto vs pain.. again more sasuke..
8. now sasuke vs 8-tails.. again sasuke joining akatsuki.. kage meeting.. now naruto wants to save sasuke.. n i havent even started how sakura reacts everytime she hears the words "sasuke"
I mean they showed naruto more or other ppl also.. I mite have missed a few arcs here n there.. but my point is most of it has been abt sasuke... 90% of things naruto has done have been abt sasuke???? I mean wtf... just name it sasuke... why call it Naruto??

For one thing Kishi has to show both sides in order to have insight in Naruto and Sasuke's bonds. Without all of Sasuke's flashbacks, we wouldn't know what would make Naruto be able to relate to him.
Also the beginning heavily concentrated on Sasuke at times in the beginning because of how he was what vvershadowed Naruto's progressed and drove him. Sasuke was obviously the prodigy in his gen and so Konoha concentrated on him, and now Naruto has become a hero, it'll be more of him and eventually all about him (hopefully).
And you said it yourself...The things Naruto has done have been for Sasuke. And we see what happens mostly through Naruto's side of the story the majority of the manga. Though probably not 90% percent of the things have been for Sasuke...Maybe a bit lower.
Kishi made a story for Sasuke, he can't just leave his story and have us see Naruto aimlessly chasing him until they meet all of a sudden.
