Was Madara a fodder genjutsu user or was Hashirama immune?1?!?!!?

Grandma Chiyo sayz it best! In a 1 vs 1, you gotta run vs teh Uchiha! Because genjutsu solos... But! Madara, a sharingan user, kept losing 1vs1 fights with Hashirama........why!?!?!

it made me think and kestion if Madara was just a fodder genjutsu user.........unless you have some kind of a partner (bijuu or sage frogs for example) a sharingan user shud always be able to solo via genjutsu in a 1vs1

here is an example of genjutsu solo'ing.......and not even with eyes! just a finger!

Hashirama have too much chakra to be put under genjutsu. He would just break out of it. If Madara sucked at genjutsu then a edo Madara with fake eyes wouldn't put Raikage out of commission until the other kage broke him free.

In terms of genjutsu feats even Sasuke was way better than him. I think out of the 5 uchihas we know, Madara is the least talented of the 5 when it comes to powerful genjutsu feats.

madara vs hashirama was just a slug fest to the end and then kenjutsu battle at the very end. A lot was off panelled after he got by shinsu senju

Grandma Chiyo's opinion was based on the experiences of fodder ninjas, she didn't know Gods like Hashirama. Uchiha genjutsu is overrated and there are other ways it can be avoided other than what Chiyo mentioned.

That's what Uchiha fanboys ignore, Hashirama wasn't a perfect Jin yet never found himself getting trapped inside a Mangekyo genjutsu even though his opponent had Indra's eye power.

That should prove to everyone that requirements to resist high tier genjutsu do not apply to transmigrants like they do to average shinobi.

No it isn't. Only IT would work on Hashirama. Probably Tsukuyomi also due to it's mechanics.

There's no such thing as chakra being too much for genjutsu, I didn't read that anywhere. Beast and beings that have more chakra than Hashirama are still susceptible to Tsukyomi and KA. The only reason why Hashirama does well against a genjutsu is the same reason naruto would do well against genjustu. He uses wood clone feints and art of escape.

Once he's caught it's game over. He's never shown any skill in beating an ocular genjutsu at all. His fans just assumed he did because he can beat madara or he went up against an uchiha clan all his life despite 3 tomoe being the highest level (madara's dad) of sharingan he's seen as a kid, and lord knows that madara's dad didn't fight him or he would be dead.

Izuna and Madara were the only ones he and his brother fought their whole life and not one of them showed genjutsu feats until EMS Madara. That's why it's fanfic. Lack of proof/feats.

Nah Hashirama's chakra is on par with BM Naruto with half Kurama. Dispersing your chakra allow one to break genjutsu and Hashirama can do that with a glance. If what i said is fanfic then @Bold is as well.

Even if it's on par with half a biju chakra a being/creature with more still does not break an ocular genjutsu. The manga said ocular genjutsu cannot be broken by disrupting your chakra, only a second person has to be there to do it for you. Even the databook confirms this so Hashirama is no exception.

It's not fanfic if you read hashirama's databook.

Nobody is immune to genjutsu. Hashirama was just very powerful and could handle genjutsu. He was considered the strongest ninja during his time. I doubt a person with that title wouldn't be able to deal with genjutsu. Especially when you consider the fact his rival clan consistent of sharingan genjutsu users.

There is no evidence to support that Tsukuyomi can only be defeated by an Uchiha user with MS. Just because an Uchiha or person makes a statement/claim about an Uchiha's power/jutsu doesn't make that statement/claim to be fact. It was stated amaterasu can't be avoid and that was proven false. Tsukuyomi is a genjutsu and it follows the same genjutsu rules.

Even Itachi had to change strategies when using a genjutsu on Naruto. Most people didn't catch that.
