Was Lee striking Madara really that impressive?

frankly i think it was extremely irresponsible of gai to kick lee towards an enemy that could wipe him out in one hit. if i was the hokage i would have his jonin status revoked for putting his student in such danger

The person saying "hell yeah" is Gai, after hitting Lee, propelling him into Edo Madara.

I don't think so, IMO it clearly shows Lee say, "Hell yeah" and I don't see Lee and Guy getting into contact at all.

Actually he wasnt thrown/kicked at all, because Guy himself is moving. Lee just used Guy as a springboard because he wouldnt be able to propel himself forward without something to push off of.

I didn't even see Lee getting contact with Guy at all.

It was awesome, but yes there are clearly reasons for it not exactly being all skill. Madara was immobile and clearly not giving a ****.

Anyhow it is very annoying that everyone got Chakra hand outs....sadly now any moment someone has it looses 80% of their credibility due to it being borrowed strength

Where did you get that '80%' statistic? Or was it you just assuming?

I did say it was circumstantial.

Still, Madara's overconfidence did get the better of him in that situation.

Then why were his arms crossed in his opening stance of Gates? Just because he didn't say "1st Gate, gate of Opening, open!", doesn't mean he didn't open it as shown when Kakashi used the 1st gate yet didn't say it.

It's just like how ninja use Body Flicker Technique, just because they don't say it doesn't mean they didn't use it.

Unless it was Guy? I'm going to have to look more into this.

Madara killed all five kages at once without sweating. Naruto in basic chakra cloak got beaten by sasuke. I'm not saying he deserves 100% credit but its still damn impressive.
