Was Lee striking Madara really that impressive?

I don't know if your opinions differ but honestly, I don't find Lee striking Madara that impressive because:

1. Lee was given the Kyuubi's chakra/power which increases speed immensely.

2. Madara was standing and attached to the Juubi.

3. If I'm not mistaken, Madara isn't even being 100% serious now and is occasionally cracking jokes and smiles. In a way he is being care free compared to what he can be. That being said, he is well aware of his Edo abilities so he may of allowed himself to be hit just for the amusement of seeing the Allied faces as he gets rebuilt.

I'm not trying to bash on Lee because I think Lee is a strong and cool character, I just don't believe he should be overpraised for such a move.

No real logical members are overpraising him for that, but its Lee's time to shine, so lets give him some credit for actually doing something useful instead of being ignored/useless like kishi has done to all of the main support characters since the beginnning of part 2.

I wasn't impressed to begin with, he was buffed up on Kyuubi chakra which takes away 80% of the feat.

Sure, it was circumstantial, but that doesn't diminish the accomplishment.

The guy just kicked Madara straight up in the chest for goodness sake.

i didn't think it was that special, tsunade landed a hit on him so why wouldn't a ninja as fast as lee land one... especially on kyuubi roids

Never was impressed; also he was kicked/thrown into Edo Madara by Gai (and thus that speed wasn't even his):

The person saying "hell yeah" is Gai, after hitting Lee, propelling him into Edo Madara.

Actually he wasnt thrown/kicked at all, because Guy himself is moving. Lee just used Guy as a springboard because he wouldnt be able to propel himself forward without something to push off of.

It was awesome, but yes there are clearly reasons for it not exactly being all skill. Madara was immobile and clearly not giving a ****.

Anyhow it is very annoying that everyone got Chakra hand outs....sadly now any moment someone has it looses 80% of their credibility due to it being borrowed strength
