Was Kurama a hindrance to Madara?

My guess is that Rinnegan enhances his MS abilities. Meaning his perfect Susanoo is stronger now than it was when he fought Hashirama.

kurama was not an hindrance because madara and hashirama have fought several times while madara had the ems so he knew he needed more than his susanoo to defeat hashirama thats why he went out find kurama even madara agrees hashirama was stronger than him

Seriously, I'm starting to disbelieve the fact that Hashirama beat Madara. What if Madara had trouble focusing on controlling Kurama (Minato stated that controlling him requires a decent amount of chakra) and couldn't fight to his full potential? Then, when Kurama was restrained, things must have gotten even worse, with Mito (POSSIBLY) being there as backup.

But seriously, how the hell did Madara lose with that Susanoo? Maybe too much chakra and time went towards controlling Kurama? I just find it hard to believe that Hashirama actually one.

I'd say chakra reserves as well, Hashirama had an ocean of chakra seeing as anyone with his dna demonstrates abnormal amounts of chakra, and Madara's techs seem like they drain too much, it basically all came down to an endurance match, and Madara couldn't hack it, he even wanted hashi's power while alive

Ive already stated that madara knowing him well is an idiot and took the wrong move and lost. It was said that he had fought hashirama with the ms several times and drew. With the ems which only boosts the ms abilities he should be stronger and i believe that was the case. He made the mistake of thinking power is the only thing that determines a fight and went to further length when he took control of the fox, that was his mistake.

Controlling a tailed beasts is said to take quiet a bit of concentration, but also limits the user to an extent, or the fox did his best to resist it and that couldve further hindered madara and i believe this was the mistake madara did;

The greater mistake was when he tried to it against hashirama who not only had the ability to suppress tailed beast chakra but also had a number under his control, certain his ability with tailed beasts surpasses the sharingan/ms or ems.
